We aren't a registrar, so we can't sell you the domain. You have to purchase it yourself (namecheap is a partner of ours, but you can buy elsewhere if you prefer). If you really want get some of your Morty money back, we can exchange your Morty account for a Tommy account, which would give you a refund of ~$2.20 ($5.70 - $1 bonus - $0.50 refund tx fee - $2 tommy account). Then you could spend $1.28 of the money we refunded to buy the .xyz domain and use it with Tommy and Amazon SES.

To use a purchased domain with us, you simply buy it, then select "custom name servers" and enter ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org as the name servers to use. After that, we configure those CNAMEs and other DNS records, and you can send your emails using that domain as well as use Tommy to set up a website on that domain. :) 

Buying a proper domain not only prevents spam issues on our side, but it gives you a more professional appearance when it comes to actually running a business too. I do recommend the .com domain if possible as they tend to have better mail deliverability and are the industry standard for a business, but .xyz is much cheaper if you want to save money.

Actually, there is not a $0.50 transaction fee if you want to exchange your Morty account for a Tommy account. The transaction fee only applies to refunds, not exchanges.

Thank you very much for taking your time to explain and I have some few questions please.

1) Why do I need to downgrade to a Tommy Account while I can maintain the current features in Morty in which I am very comfortable with? (As the only reason I may consider a refund is simply because you are refusing to assist me to configure CNAME records for my Amazon SES).

2) I am still an Amateur in web building, and I am glad about your advice to me to consider using .COM domains but my deepest request at this time will be needing your further assistance in adding the CNAME records just like you have helped me previously so my question is,-  how do I achieve this without leaving outside your platform (HELIONET) guidance/support? (You have the best customer service, thank you very much)

We aren't refusing you assist you configure the CNAME records, we're informing you that our free domains cannot be used in the way you're intending. If you purchase a domain we can assist you with the CNAME records for that domain. You're welcome to use the free helioho.st subdomain for things other than bulk email sending. You're welcome to continue using your Morty account as long as it doesn't violate our terms of service.
