I was wondering when you're planning to resume registrations on this tier, or maybe you could create one for me as a special request? wolstech Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 It fills in seconds each time it opens because there's only a few accounts given out each time. The accounts given out about a half hour ago were taken in just 2.1 seconds due to demand. You basically have to sit there right at midnight/noon UTC and mash the button over and over again. Most people need multiple tries to get one. The frustration surrounding this is one of the reasons we added an option to let people just donate $1 for an account. Back when I started here in 2009 we didn't accept donations (we were ad-supported at the time), and the accounts were given out only at midnight Pacific Time, which meant being up at 3AM to get one. Took me a week of middle-of-the-night clicking to get it.
