wolstech Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Morty will not be free. It will have a monthly fee that starts at $1/month and increases depending on your account load. The more you use, the more you pay. There is a maximum charge too (which will likely be around $20 a month). Morty has no inactivity suspensions, so you won't be required to sign in once every 30 days like you do for Johnny and Tommy. As long as the bill is paid, it simply works.
Krydos Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 The current planned pricing is as follows: $1 per month is the minimum payment for if you stay under 100 GB memory and less than 10k CPU per day. If you go over the 100 GB memory limit each 1 GB of memory over will cost you $0.0005 If you go over the 10k CPU limit each 1000 CPU will cost you $0.005 The maximum you can pay for a single day is $0.82 if you use more than 790 GB memory and more than 79k CPU. The maximum you can pay for a month is $25 if you go over 790 GB memory and over 79k CPU every day that month. We will also allow users to set a daily maximum payment so if you don't want to pay more than $0.50 per day, or whatever number less than $0.82 you choose, your account will be temporarily replaced with an overage page until the next day starts at midnight UTC with the option to raise your limit whenever to get your site back online. We will also allow users to set a monthly maximum payment so if you don't want to pay more than $5 per month, or whatever number less than $25 you choose, your account will be temporarily replaced with an overage page until the next month starts with the option to raise your limit whenever to get your site back online. If you leave both maximums set to $0.82 daily and $25 per month your account will never be suspended for high load, and we will do everything in our power to keep you online no matter how much traffic your site gets. We will also allow a monthly subscription plan where you will be billed at the end of the month for your usage, or if you don't like auto billing you can also prepay for your Morty account, and then we'll send you a reminder email when your balance gets low. This is all subject to change as we test the system and fine tune things.
