Hello,

I have just registered a new account (jimkosloskey) for a Postgresql DB
(Tommy).

I have a very small project to evaluate the use of Stored Procedure in a
Postgresql DB. To do this I would like to use DB-Visualizer from my desktop
and have the ability to create and call Stored Procedures.

I understand I need to request both of those features.

I hereby submit that request.

I am new to this, so if there is more I need to do, or you need to know, let
me know. Just understand I am probably totally ignorant of any acronyms you
might use.

Thanks,

Jim Kosloskey

Thank you - I successfully connected via DB-Visualizer. Do I need permission
setting to create my test DB? I am getting a permissions error when I try.

Thanks,

Do I need permissions to create a schema in my DB? Using DB-Visualizer for
that and me as Authorization.

Thanks

No, DB-Visualizer.

You have to create the database through Plesk. You can't create databases through DB-Visualizer because it will only have access to the one database that you requested remote access for.

Ok I deleted my original DB in case I used DB-Visualizer and built another
one same name different user. Now I cannot connect using that DB Name
(jimkosloskey_test_mule) and user name (jimkosloskey_whosis). Do I need new
connection information (beyond the new user name and associated password)?

Thanks,

Jim Kosloskey
