wolstech Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 Your account was lost in the recent Johnny disk failure. The system did generate a backup of your account successfully after the raid rebuild, but since we were only able to recover the server to the state it was in as of March 8, 2024, and your account was created on March 7, you hadn't uploaded anything yet and the backup is of an empty account. You'll need to restore any backups you may have on your end, or start over.
HelioHost Posted July 26, 2024 Author Posted July 26, 2024 I have uploaded my website on 22nd May 2024 much after your disk failure. I don't have backup. It is a very important code. Please restore the file and databases. Thanks you Ishan Krishna Vatsa On Fri, 26 Jul, 2024, 9:47?pm HelioHost Support, wrote: > Your account was lost in the recent Johnny disk failure. Krydos Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 The disk failure was on July 15th. As we posted in the news we shut down Johnny to find out what was going on with the hard drives and discovered that 1 of the 2 drives in the redundant array was dying. We put in a spare good drive and tried rebuilding the raid array from the July 15th data for over a week, and the data was too far gone to recover anything, so we instead restored from the last good state which was March 8th in order to provide some backups rather than no backups at all. So if you uploaded your files on May 22nd it was after the March 8th state that the drive is in now, which is why they are no longer there. That means you'll have to use your own backups. Since the files are so important, I assume you made backups of them like we always say tell our users to do.
