I would like increase my account's Memory and CPU limits. I bought donor
plan at one time purchase of $1.

Is it $1 for extra for another 100GB and 10k CPU?

Screenshot of my current usage attached.

You cannot increase your load limits. We will be releasing Morty soon that will not have load restrictions it will start at $1 per month but it can increase based on the load of your account.

My current limit is 100 GB memory per 24h. Bought this at one time purchase
of $1 doner plan.

In VPS plans, your most expensive plan is 15 GB memory at $50 monthly which
doesn't make sense. Is this per minute or per 24h?

The measurement methods are different.

The VPS is an entire virtual server of your own, and are rated as total capacity installed in the server (like a real server would be), not a cumulative total of samples like the shared hosting is.

You can buy a 15GB VPS and run an app that needs all 15 GB continuously (though remember the OS will also use memory, so in practice not all of it is available).

On the shared hosting, the memory use is checked at intervals and added up. The number is the sum of all samples for your account over the last 24 hour, and means the max continuous memory use allowed is only about 70MB for an application running 24/7.

I'm still confused.

So the smallest plan of 1GB memory is more than my current shared plan of
100GB max in 24h?

the 1GB is continous not based on 24h time?

If both Tommy and the VPS were using the same units, your $4 per month VPS daily limit would be 1440 GB per day, and your Tommy account would be 100 GB per day. On shared hosting you share the memory with thousands of other users. On a VPS you have dedicated memory that only you can use. On a VPS you also get root SSH access, and a lot of other benefits as well.

In my hosting storage page, it says my account may be suspended if I exceed
the limit of GB. Is this also for the VPS plans? Asking because there may
be chance my web app can get more downloads than expected. If so, would
custom plan be only plan where my account won't be suspended if I exceed
current limit? just billed more money?

VPSes do not get suspended for overuse (they just slow down or throw errors from being starved of resources, think of a PC with too many programs open at once) and do not get more expensive unless you explicitly decide to upgrade them.

A hosting plan that gets more expensive based on usage is actually a planned future feature (will be a server named Morty), but it's not ready yet.

When I move from shared hosting to VPS, my domain configuration and port
number would get changed? Is this true for changing from one vps plan to
another in heliohost?

If so, I'd go with custom plan where I don't have to worry about code
changes.

The domain configuration would stay basically the same, except for the A record and the AAAA record. Tommy uses a shared IPv4 and IPv6 where there are thousands of other domains sharing the same IP address. On a VPS you have a dedicated IPv4 and a dedicated IPv6 that no one else can use except for you. If you use our nameservers we can reconfigure the domain for you to point at the VPS, so you wouldn't have to do anything to move over.

For ports, they would all stay the same from Tommy to a VPS so you wouldn't need any code changes.

Probably the biggest change for going from Tommy to a VPS would be the control panel. Tommy uses a control panel called Plesk, but Plesk on a VPS would cost you an extra $15.50 on top of the price we charge for the VPS itself. So if you wanted to go with a Mercury VPS with Plesk it would cost $19.50 per month. A lot of VPS users opt to go for a free control panel such as Hestia, KeyHelp, or CyberPanel. With those control panels a Mercury VPS would only cost $4.00 per month. Of course if you're a more advanced user and know your way around the control panel you can opt to go with no control panel at all and just install everything you need via SSH.

And what about our databse, will heliohost also replicate the database if I
move from Tommy to VPS?

Yeah, you can export your database to .sql format using PhpMyAdmin, and then import it into MariaDB/MySQL yourself. If you're not too familiar with the export/import process I could do it for you, but it's a good idea to learn how to do it yourself in case you want to backup your data, which is always a good idea.

Do you provide a free domain name in this package? My domain is currently
superlearner2627.helioho.st for payment page but looks suspicious
