VPS number: 90, VPS ID: 566

Hey!
I might be wrong on this, but I ordered a VPS server and I got the paypal
receipt, but I did not get any username or password.
I assume they will be sent to me upon the server creation, I just want to
know that I will be getting my VPS information.

A second email usually comes with the credentials once it's finished building. That email generally comes within an hour of purchase in most cases. Note that it may be in your spam folder, especially if you use Gmail.

If you didn't receive it, please let us know and we can have it resent.

So it has been over 2 or 3 hours and I did not receive it yet.
I assume the server is still being setup.

Keeping in mind that this is all operated by volunteers I do understand
that it may take some extra time and I appreciate all that your are doing.
I will standby for the email with the details.

I guess it might take a bit longer, depending on everyones free time and
local time.

I just realized this was a Windows VPS...I believe Krydos has to install those manually unlike the linux ones that build themselves.

I'll pass this onto Krydos for you.

Yeah, the Windows VPS say it will be built within 24 hours. We can't promise any shorter than that because an admin has to manually build it for you. I'm not usually awake at 2:16am so it's going to take a little longer if you order VPS that have to be built manually in the middle of the night. Another thing to keep in mind is the Windows updates alone take like 3-4 hours so it's not a quick process. You might also be interested to know that we've been providing Windows VPS since 2017 and so far have only built 6 of them so far in 7 years, so it's not really worth the effort to automate the process. Plus 5 of the 6 people who ordered Windows VPS either canceled within a month or two or switched to Linux anyways. So we've really only had 1 Windows VPS user actually purchase a license and continue using it after the trial ended. The Ubuntu 22 VPS, on the other hand, build themselves automatically and you can login within 20 minutes without any admin assistance even at 2:16am.

I got the email and managed to login to the server and change what I need :)
I asked for a windows server as it is specific to my needs and I understand a Linux machine might be a better solution, but I rather stick to windows as testing my builds is just what I need from this machine.

Thank you so much for everything and to you @Krydos for taking the extra time in the middle of the night to configure my server.
I appricate it a lot!

I am an experienced system administrator and I work in the field for 20 or so years already.
So trust me I put in a lot of thought and consideration to which machine I will be choosing :) 
Everything you do is just great! I truly understand your goal and efforts here.

Alright, so after finishing all my tests, I would like to drop the server and cancel it.

Do not issue a refund please, as this project is valuable and does help a lot of people so I would like to support it as best as I can.

Thank you for your service and I greatly appreciate your help!

I do not need the server any more :)
