HelioHost Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 Username: kanchude, Server: Tommy, Main domain: deeppradhan.heliohost.orgGreetings... - I had donated US$20/- towards Sparkie Server on 10 June 2019 with Donor Name 'Deep Pradhan'. - As per the offers of donation, apart from doubling of storage there was 04 months of inactivity immunity which was to be provided (I have attached the message received via GoFundMe confirming the same). - However, off late I have noticed that I get inactivity notification after just about a month's time of inactivity. - My account was moved to Tommy after a donation of US$10/- as per the crowdfunding for upgrade to Ricky on 03 Feb 2021, after which this issue might have started. - Request, if it can be :- - Clarified if I am still eligible for the inactivity immunity for 04 months. - In case I am still eligible the same may please be activated. - Looking forward to a speedy & positive response at your end; and thank you for all your efforts! Regards...???
wolstech Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 That offer was a one time thing during a fundraiser. It provided 4 months of immunity once from the date of donation, not a permanent change of your inactivity period to once every 4 months. It has long since been used up, and we no longer offer the ability to pay for this on our free plans (our Morty plan once available will offer this as well as other benefits such as no load suspensions, but will come with a monthly fee instead).
Krydos Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 I wrote the wording for the inactivity immunity during the fundraiser, and all of the admins reviewed it before we published, and none of us even considered that someone would assume that they would only need to login once every 4 months from then on. If we offer inactivity immunity as a thank you gift in a future fundraiser we will be very careful to explain what we mean so no one else gets the wrong idea like you did. Though in our defense we've had hundreds of people donate for inactivity immunity and, if I recall correctly, only one other person came to the same conclusion as you. Sorry for not being clear enough the first time. We're not lawyers so we don't speak airtight legal jargon. We're just normal people who love to volunteer our time to make the world a better place.
