iamj0ker Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I want to switch my plan/server to the one that has python and nodejs supported, which one would be the best fit for my needs? if there is no such one existed, can i ask for switch my server to the one that has python supported? Donated with eth transaction id: 0x0379b3e258f6ee7f7cf5a614ea48c92f06fc9740d9f0850a143612ef43b5edf5
Unknown025 Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I'll escalate your thread so an administrator can check on that transaction ID. As far as I know, all servers support Node.js and Python.
wolstech Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 The server you are currently on already supports both of these. Node can be set up from plesk, and python you just...use. There is no control panel for Python. https://wiki.helionet.org/tutorials/node.js I'll have to dig around for Python instructions, the wiki has an outdated tutorial for our old cpanel servers still.
Krydos Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 Python CGI, Django, Flask, Python cron, Python constantly running process such as a bot, or something else?
iamj0ker Posted November 17, 2023 Author Posted November 17, 2023 Oh that's great, thank Wolstech & Krydos I am currently playing around with Python jobs sort of constantly running process in the background. But this script had currently run via terminal manually in my local machine and thinking to test it online. I thought there were only upgraded machine such as Tommy or Ricky has python supported. Sorry for stupid questions.
Krydos Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 Johnny, Ricky, Tommy, Morty, and Lily do not have terminals. VPS plans have root SSH access if you need a terminal and they start at $4 per month.
