wolstech Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 For security reasons, it can only be sent to the email address on file. While it's sometimes difficult to explain, we have had bad actors in the past attempt to pose as legitimate users in order to obtain the backups of accounts that aren't theirs, usually for the purpose of stealing information. In addition, since our accounts have no personal information attached to them (aside from an email address), we cannot accept standard ID verification methods either because there is nothing to compare the information to. As a result, we have a strict same-email-only policy. I'll have another administrator with more authority look at this issue for you, however I suspect his response will be the same as the ones already given. In the future, my recommendation would be for you to create the account under your own email address, then supply the username and password to your webmaster so he can maintain your site.
Krydos Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Why can't you just ask for the backup link from the guy who is in the hospital? All he has to do is open the email and forward it to you.
