Dear Hosting Provider,

I want my website to be as performant and secure as

possible with the latest version of PHP. For the server

my WordPress site is hosted on, I want to ensure that

is the case. If I am not already on the latest version

of PHP, please let me know what steps I need to take

to update.

Thanks!

Our servers support up to PHP 7.2.

Please be advised though that we highly recommend not using WordPress. It's junk software...poorly written, bloated, and *very* insecure. It's one of the leading causes of high load suspensions, the leading cause of hacked accounts, and one of the leading causes of accidental phishing bans (hacker gets in, then either sets up a phishing site or sends phishing email from your account).

Joomla is the most common alternative for running a website. I run at least one site using it.

There's a ton of CMSes out there though. I would suggest trying a few and see what you like. Some of us use custom written software or plain HTML as well.

Also, for PHP, servers except Ricky now support 7.3 as well.
