Sn1F3rt Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Umm correct. I didn't receive any mail... Checked inbox as well as spam.
Amoss Posted July 11, 2019 Author Posted July 11, 2019 See in my previous reply (previous page) what happens when I test with exim.
wolstech Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Your certificate does not list the www subdomain in the SAN section, so the cert is in fact not valid when www. is included before the domain name. It's only valid for stockdiv.com (without www) and mail.stockdiv.com.
Amoss Posted July 11, 2019 Author Posted July 11, 2019 (edited) Thanks, I hope Krydos will take care of it the next time he will be online. I wonder why I (and maybe others) get this error and the people here didn't.Now other users started reporting me that they have this problem as well so it's not only me. Do you have an idea how can I fix this? Assuming I can ofcourse. --- regarding the email, my account is defined inside gmail itself (what a joke, ah? ), pop3 server is stockdiv.com and it works, if I change it to mail.stockdiv.com then it says: Unable to establish secure SSL connection to mail.stockdiv.com. SMTP on the other hand, was changed successfully to mail.... so I emailed again to the panther email... and after 24 hours or so I got a delivery error email ---I see several errors of the following:12-Jul-2019 19:21:45.076 INFO [http-nio-8080-exec-21] org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Processor.service Error parsing HTTP request header Note: further occurrences of HTTP request parsing errors will be logged at DEBUG level. java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid character found in method name. HTTP method names must be tokens from the web it is related to https/http stuff, in apache logs I didn't see anything suspicious.---- Edited July 12, 2019 by Amoss
Krydos Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 The certficate covers www now too. https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=stockdiv.com All you had to do was uncheck the ssl box, click save, check the ssl box, and click save and it generates a new certificate and installs it for you. The only reason you were having issues doing this yourself before is because you used htaccess to block lets encrypt's access to your well-known/acme-challenge directory.
Amoss Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 Works like a charm - thanks---Gmail issue: Is it officially a voodoo or is there anything else that can be done? or maybe somewhere else i can check things?---Any idea what's the thing with the java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid character found in method name. HTTP method names must be tokens?from the web it is related to https/http stuff, in apache logs I didn't see anything suspicious.
Amoss Posted July 15, 2019 Author Posted July 15, 2019 (edited) Gmail Issue, I saw the following here https://amp.ipaddress.com/websites/stockdiv.com - what is this heliohost2.gmail.com thing? SOA Recordstockdiv.com IN SOA ns1.heliohost.org. heliohost2.gmail.com. (2019051110 ; serial3600 ; refresh : 1 hour7200 ; retry : 2 hours1209600 ; expiry : 14 days86400 ; minttl : 1 day) I have also been asked this"I noticed there is no reverse lookup for 216.218.228.90. I'm also concerned about what it might mean that the IP address is the same for both names. Also, it is important for deliverability that the sending server is authorized to send messages on behalf of your domain." and thisYou might improve deliverability by adding a reverse lookup record Edited July 15, 2019 by Amoss
Sn1F3rt Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 See I don't know about heliohost2.gmail.com but the Softaculous script installation/uninstallation emails come from heliohost2@gmail.com. Any connection between the two?
wolstech Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 From my understanding, heliohost2 is an email account where a bunch of system alerts get sent. I'm not sure exactly what it's used for otherwise (or who if anyone even checks it), but I know I've seen various cpanel alerts waiting to being sent to it when I check the exim queues on the hosting servers.
Sn1F3rt Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 @wolstech: You mean you do not have access into that account?
Amoss Posted July 15, 2019 Author Posted July 15, 2019 Adding this here as well I have also been asked this"I noticed there is no reverse lookup for 216.218.228.90. Also, it is important for deliverability that the sending server is authorized to send messages on behalf of your domain." and thisYou might improve deliverability by adding a reverse lookup record
wolstech Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 @sohamb03: No I don't. The only times I've even seen that account mentioned are in system logs and exim queues.

Same results with my domain too. EDIT: Not only mine ... In fact with every other domain or subdomain at HelioHost.
Amoss Posted July 15, 2019 Author Posted July 15, 2019 Thanks, and do you have a problem sending emails to gmail? :-)
Sn1F3rt Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 No I amnt. The email arrived in spam but at least it did. Your problem must definitely be somewhere else coz if this was the problem then nobody at HelioHost would be able to send emails to Gmail.
