[HH#328472] not able to add aliases (shivajisoft.com)

Hi,

 

I am user "imhemu1". I tried to change main domain for my account. But it

is not changing.

I also tried to add aliases as "shivajisoft.com". So am getting following

error:

 

"There was an error when the system attempted to create the alias.

Park::park(shivajisoft.com) failed: (XID 4b8krw) A DNS entry for "

shivajisoft.com" already exists. You must remove this DNS entry from all

servers in the DNS cluster to proceed."

 

Please let me know, what is wrong with my account configuration.

But my some subdomains are pointed to other hosting servers from bigrock.

 

Will those work properly after deletion of other nameservers?

 

Can i point domain without using ns of heliohost, only by ip address?

As per you says, I have removed all ns other than heliohost. But now my

subdomains which are pointed to google blog.shivajisoft.com is not working.

 

Can I get ip address to point rather than ns1.heliohost.com?

We don't officially support any configuration other than our own name servers, however I will say that once the domain is added to your account, you can use an A record pointed to the server shared IP to make the website work.

 

Note that email, www, and subdomains will not function in this configuration, and we will not provide any support for this configuration. If you request future support, you will be required to change the name servers back again before we will assist you.

My shared ip address is 65.19.143.6

But whenever i hit that, heliohost saying like account is in queue.

Is their any wrong configuration made by me?

You won't be able to view your site by the IP unless you purchase a dedicated IP address for $12. The reason you see the queued page when you go to 65.19.143.6 is because there are thousands of other websites on that same IP address and the server doesn't know which one you want to view.

As you earlier said, regarding pointing shared ip to domain. Should I have

to point this shared ip address to my domain? And it Will work. Correct??

Don't know why i cannot see even after clearing cache. I will check after

some time.

 

I am having another question, I want to use asp.net hosting, how i can do

that?
