wolstech Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Have you waited 12 hours? SSL on Johnny takes up to 12 hours to start working after you add the certificate since apache has to restart.
HelioHost Posted March 31, 2018 Author Posted March 31, 2018 yes i have waited more than 12 hours On Fri, Mar 30, 2018 at 11:00 PM, Heliohost Support wrote: > Have you waited 12 hours? wolstech Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 It's typical Johnny being Johnny then. That server doesn't handle SSL very well, and it often doesn't work right (or in some cases, at all) on Johnny due to his severe overloading. Since you've waited the 12 hours and it didn't work, you're just one of the "doesn't work at all" cases. Sometimes removing it and re-adding it will fix it, but not always. The only thing we can recommend that guarantees the issue gets fixed is moving to one of our other servers, since they are not overloaded. SSL actually works correctly on both of our other servers, and the server automatically gets and installs a certificate for you within 24 hours of adding a domain too, so there's no messing with let's encrypt either.
HelioHost Posted March 31, 2018 Author Posted March 31, 2018 i have a aliases domain manam.cf when i enter http://www.manam.cf im getting index.htm page but when ienter https://www.manam.cf (i installed ssl certificate) im getting a indexof/ folder with cgi-bin/ is this happening because of johnny server ?? Krydos Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Yes. Since https isn't correctly installed the server doesn't know which account to show so you get a more or less random account on the server which doesn't even belong to you.
HelioHost Posted March 31, 2018 Author Posted March 31, 2018 i tried with ricky its working On Sat, Mar 31, 2018 at 6:20 PM, Heliohost Support wrote: > Yes.
