hello helio team,, actually there is here big problem i set up my web page, and it works on wordpress and the site is (promotingall.heliohost.org) and i vist the page, the real great problem happened yesterday when i tried to enter the site from (5pm to 1 Am) distractedly disconnected, and from time to time and i

 

discovered that , the web and although the helio page is fallen and collapsed so, as you visit from firefox it usually gives ,timeout or reset,, could u believe that all these hours

 

so imagine a beginner like me here,setting that webpage to use it in affiliate, and then discovered that his page is fallen and people say that because of jonney server and i found almost people complain of it, and for sorry i did my page on it because i wasn,t know enough

 

2--people and technical guided me to use , VPS ,(virtual private server) and after search i found a resource that will give me the service, and i,m telling you that i will do that to shift my page on that vps until you fix your server, because it,s too heavy and doesn,t open

It wasn't anything to do with us or your website specifically. Johnny actually has decent uptime now since the server no longer has unlimited registrations

 

We were being hit by a DDoS attack yesterday though, and that did take everything down for quite some time (there's no way to effectively mitigate such a large attack on our servers...we just wait it out). ya it logs i know,now, but i will not let that previous attack happen again because of that i talked with you on putting the page on vps cloud

 

2-there is a theme here and i try to upload it but it estimated by 33 MB and the system refuse to upload it any more and i don,t know why

If you're worried about downtime one thing you can do to help is put your domain on https://www.cloudflare.com/ That is a free cloud service that helps protect against DDoS attacks and a lot more. We have the Cloudflare plugin installed and you can find it in your cpanel at https://johnny.heliohost.org:2083/frontend/paper_lantern/cloudflare/index.live.php

 

Have you tried uploading your theme with FTP? The limit for a file over FTP should be 1gb. It sounds like you may have been trying to upload your file through PHP. Let us know if you can't figure out how to upload files with FTP and we can raise the PHP upload value for you.

Cloudflare caches your pages at several hundred worldwide data centers so wherever your user visits your page from they will use the fastest (closest) data center. Since the data is cached that means that even if Johnny goes down Cloudflare will still be able to serve your pages.

 

404 error means file not found. So if someone goes to yourdomain.com/notfound.html and the notfound.html file doesn't exist they will get a 404 error in their browser. The best way to prevent 404 errors is to make sure there aren't any broken links on your site. Broken links can be caused by deleting one of your files without removing the links on your other pages that link to the now missing file.

 

I just tested the cpanel file manager uploader with a 274mb file, and it uploaded just fine for me. Perhaps try a different browser, or like I mentioned before use FTP to upload.

actually i setup filezilla and now when i,m trying to connect by my user and cpanel pass word and

 

port 21 it gives (Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivityError: Failed to retrieve directory listing)

 

so is the port right or wrong

 

2-my internet provider is cyber net, so it,s network, and form the basic pc,i think we take the ip address, so i also tried the passive mode of filezilla and failed

 

and i,m using eset smart security,so is the firewall has the problem, or it,s related to the user and password of ftp connection??

pls i need to finish that matter because the business is down

Try this

 

Open Filezilla

Click File >> Site Manager

Click New Site

Type "Johnny SFTP" and press enter

In Host field type "johnny.heliohost.org"

In Port field type "1373"

In Protocol dropdown select "SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol"

In Logon Type dropdown select "Normal"

In User field type your cPanel username

In Password field type your cPanel password

Click Connect

Approve the remote server key, and check the box to not ask you about this server again.

but when i visited the cpanel to open the file and see it even in ftp account, file manager, or softcalculas, i didn,t find him

so please where can i find the file to just start it immediately, i really want to finish that matter because it takes too long than should it be

Well, it looks like you're using wordpress so I searched google for where to upload a wordpress theme to for you. According to https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes it should be /wp-content/themes/ So since your username is nadeem12 and you installed wordpress to the /wp/ directory the full path would be /home/nadeem12/public_html/wp/wp-content/themes/altrerna_982.rar

again, johny host collapsed between 12,am and 5.30 am

while i,m writing that message to you

 

i,m true beginner here since that month march until now, and i,m trying to do my website by my self

i tried alterna them and , options broken down, AVADA theme and ready templates are collapsed

and two themes else

 

and now i,m trying DIVI people say it,s easy going and premium also

 

when u will save that terrible johny server

 

and don,t tell me DDOS attacks

 

and is there any recommendation to build the word pressquickly, without errors of theme

 

i need professsional page, not traditional page
