Shinryuu Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Use: http://johnny.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/addon/index.html After successfully adding there will be a new directory in ~/public_html called webdirectory.tk. Let us know if you run into any problems. Please don't jump onto other users' threads to tell us to help you, it's rude.

This is what happened, after adding webdirectory.tk domain at: http://johnny.helioh...ddon/index.html This is what I've got: Sir/Mam, I think there's a bug on the host..
Shinryuu Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Seems to be working, the account queued page shows and webdirectory.tk/cPanel redirects properly.
mbdungo Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 Seems to be working, the account queued page shows and webdirectory.tk/cPanel redirects properly. BUT I couldn't set up a new domain with Addon Domains in cPanel X, it created a new subdomain of the main domain (which I already deleted) instead of creating a new domain. And I already created an /index.html for the new domain which is visible at: http://firm.tk/webdirectory.tk/ Actually, this topic is belongs on "HelioHost: Customer Service" and not on "HelioHost: Questions" if ever you can move this topic into "Customer Service" could you please do it. Thank you..
mbdungo Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 This topic is PAUSE because I'm going to move my account:http://wiki.helionet.org/Moving_your_account But if the problem persist, I'll going to follow this topic about the issue.. I don't want to disturb a ROOT ADMIN..
Krydos Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Well, it looks like this account has been deleted so there isn't anything to fix now. However, I'm guessing I know what the problem is. When an addon domain is created there are a couple things that happen. First a subdomain is created on your main domain. So if your main domain is firm.tk and your addon is webdirectory.tk then the subdomain that is created is something like webdirectory.firm.tk. This is the default, but you can change it to something else if you want on the addon domain creation page. Once the subdomain is created the new domain that you're adding is parked onto the subdomain so webdirectory.tk and webdirectory.firm.tk show the same content. Based on your error you posted I'm guessing that you already had a subdomain called webdirectory.firm.tk so when you told the addon tool to create it again it would show you the error that it already existed. There are two solutions that would have fixed this: Choose a different subdirectory like webdirectory2.firm.tk, or go to subdomains and delete the existing webdirectory.firm.tk subdomain so the addon tool doesn't encounter an error with the default values.
