Seems like all the root admins are too busy with Stevie and Johnny crashing one after the other (and now together!)... Supporting all of you in this time.. Will be donating again soon... Just hope that all of you don't leave Tommy behind during this crisis period! He isn't still fully working and many problems are coming up! But still, Thanks for all your help anyways!

Also, when adding an add-on domain, it creates the subdomain and adds all the Zone File Record required but then exclaims that the Zone File Record already exists. It creates the records itself then tries to recreate them! In the end after the error, the subdomain and records remain causing me to have to delete them maunally!

Additions of addon domains/alias domains are causing errors. The script isn't being competed resulting in partial addition. It's running long and ending in a 500 Internal Server Error. Please help solve this issue.. When adding alias domain:- There was an error when the system attempted to create the alias. Park::park(bloodlineodisha.tk) failed: (XID x5vcs3) The domain “bloodlineodisha.tk” already exists in the Apache configuration. Also, Now I am unable to unpark the domain theroyalsdestiny.tk Error:- There was a problem removing the alias. Park::unpark(theroyalsdestiny.tk) failed: The system cannot determine the base domain for “theroyalsdestiny.tk” (i.e., the domain on which “theroyalsdestiny.tk” is parked). Thanks for your help!

Hey, Aliases are basically separate domain names which can access and display the same webpages as your default one and can act as another domain liked to the same set of data. They help when you have various names or would like to use another name for the same website. Obvously, it is not necessary to use them! It is only when you require another domain to work side-by-side with the default one. The domain registrar you use will give you a few options of how you would like to use this domain name. You can select to use DNS/Point Domain and fill up in the provided spaces insert the two nameservers of Heliohost, ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org . Then in your cPanel, select Aliases(in paper lantern theme) and enter your domain name. There you go. Within 15 minutes-24 hours based on your domain registrar, your domain will successfully point to your heliohost server.

Thanks! Yep. That was the mistake. I was setting the cron as per GMT. now set it to PST and it ran as expected. Thanks for all your help! Have now set it to run monthly! -

Yes, had got the mail. I deleted all the files and the email and then reset the cron. Didn't work. So its quite sure the problem is with the cron setting. Just a few questions: 1) The cron runs as per GMT or some other timezone? 2) Is there some minimum time limit you have to give for the crontab to propagate or can it run 10 minutes after you have set it? I had set the cron to run 10 minutes later as per GMT and had given the command as per your directives but it didn't run. I guess I will have to schedule the cron for a farther time. I have now set it to 0 8 * * 0 . So I'm guessing it will run tomorrow at 8am since tomorrow is Sunday(0). Please tell me if there are any mistakes. -

Tested the above commands after updating: 1) cpanel user to rutaj6 2) cpanel password of the required user rutaj6 3) databse name rutaj6_db, which is the name of my database 4) email address to rutaj@outlook.com, which is my email address. But unfortunately, it did not work. I got no email of any error, no email for the backup, and there was no backup when I checked the directory. Did I go wrong somewhere? I'm not too good at Linux Shell Commands but have made a few minor name changes and have scheduled it to day after just to test. Will set it to monthly after I know that it works! Thanks anyways. -
Hey, Just wondering if it was possible and if yes, how to do it! 1. Automatically backing up MySQL database 2. Automated backing up public_html folder. 3. Zipping to one file 4. Mailing it as a link or an attachment to the webmaster or required email address or atleast sending a simple mail to remind of the backup. Any ideas on how to do that and run it weakly as a cron or monthly as per requirement! Open to all suggestions and discussions.

I downloaded the backup. Thanks for it. But just one problem, the file size of the .sql dump is 2 KB and when I tried importing them, the result shows 0 rows are found. I am quite sure they had 3 tables with atleast 2 to 3 rows in each. I don't think they are InnoDB but i can't be sure after seeing this. I tried importing it on various servers including my PC based testing server, using XAMPP that is MySQL. Can you please check if my databases are corrupt/missing? As far as I remember they were on MySQL running on the MyISAM engine cz I had not changed it and the default is usually MyISAM. P.s. a table named bbanks or something like that had atleast 100 records/rows. Please help me out here if you can. Thanks in advance.

Any estimate on around when we will be able to get our backups? It's been quite long time since no news on how far you all have gone in accessing Stevie. Are the remote connections working which you said would be established by the new piece of hardware?

Even after adding Skrill, I tried, but then my bank (SBI) comes in between. It denies international transactions as they think the security standards are not 'high enough'!!! :angry: :angry: !!! Looks like I will have to settle with Johnny instead... Anyways, keep up the good work guys!!! I will try to donate as soon as I am able to find a solution to my bank problem.

Hey, as per the latest update on the news channel, Stevie backups should be available soon. Awesome! Will MySQL databases be backed up? I'm not sure which engine they use. Also, will we be able to access the backups for a continuous period of time or short segregated spans? And, any estimate on around when we will be able to access the backups?

Hey, I have been jumping from Johnny to Stevie (when Johnny went down ) and now was about to go back to Johnny(Stevie is down ), but then I realized, your services are so good, so why not donate and get an invite to Tommy. But unfortunately, PayPal doesn't work for me (bad experience in the past), so I wanted to know if there were any other methods I could use?

What's the situation on Johnny? He seems to be kind of up today! Plus, stevie has crashed again, it's crashing every day at the time of signups as per the server monitor!!

I have trying to access my website to show it to my friends but it seems it isn't accepting any connections.. checked the server monitor, it said that Stevie has been down since many hours! Is it anything serious? Will it take long time or just a usual issue?

I have set your given command as a cron but the cron job does not send any confirmation email. I have set it to send it to my personal email so that I can come to know when it clears it out but no idea if it is being cleared. Thanks anyways.
