  1. Hi, As I have previously explained here https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/35291-help-my-account-is-suspendend/ the reason this account is suspended is because you already have another account with the username comp7054. You cannot operate multiple accounts as it is a violation of the HelioHost Terms of Service (basically, it is against the rules). It is possible for an administrator to unsuspend (unlock) your comp705 account but this will mean that your comp7054 account will be suspended (locked) instead. Are you OK with this happening? If you need to run multiple websites/ domains it is entirely possible to do this with just one account. All you need to do is add the other domains as add-on domains in cPanel. You may find this wiki page helpful https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_domain. Note that parked domains have changed to alias domains but they function the same.
  2. I believe the comp705 account remains suspended because you already have another account with the username comp7054. This comp7054 account was recently unsuspended (unlocked) as per this thread https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/35236-help-my-account-is-suspendend/ Having multiple accounts without written permission from an administrator is a violation of the HelioHost terms of service.
  3. Hi, I've been around HelioHost for a few years now under a few different forum user names. I've used HelioHost for some personal stuff and to host an event registration service for a charity that I work for. We are about to publish a registration form for an upcoming event and I'm slightly nervous about doing it because Tommy's server load is the highest I've ever seen it and I'd father not have a massive crash while we accept event registrations. Tommy just went down for half an hour as I was getting ready to open registrations. See below: Believe me, I know that this service is free and I'm getting what I pay for. Your service is absolutely fantastic!! It lets me learn about web design while saving my charity money (We would pay for hosting of the registration system if we could). This post is in no way meant to be a criticism, I'm just curious to see if you know why the load was so high and what the likelihood of it being a regular occurrence is? I've also seen this question asked many times before but what does the load figure actually represent? I thought accounts started getting suspended when the overall server load exceeded 20? Thanks for your time, Keep on being awesome! qsgt
  4. Unfortunately, Johnny accounts cannot be unarchived at this time due to ongoing maintenance. For more information please see this thread: https://www.helionet...ny-maintenance/ If you want to download your content, see this topic: https://www.helionet...johnny-backups/. If you follow the instructions in the threads above you will be able to move your content to another server (Ricky or Tommy) and continue to use HelioHost's service. However, if you donate, we can move you to another server and restore it there for you instead of you having to do it yourself. Please provide a transaction ID if this is the case. Minimum donation is US$1.
  5. AutoSSL does not need to be explicitly enabled. If your .htaccess file is configured correctly AutoSSL will generate certificates for your new domain when it begins checking accounts. I believe this happens once every 24 hours at midnight UTC. This means that in may take up to 24 hours for certificates to be generated for your account.
  6. When you click the arrow next to your user name in the top right hand corner of your cPanel you should see a button labeled "Contact Information". The same button can be found in the "Preferences" section of your cPanel. This section is usually located at the bottom of the page above the "Softaculous Apps Installer" section (assuming that you haven't changed the order of the sections in your cPanel). When you click on either of these buttons you see an option to change the email address associated with your account. If you change your email address here then it should update everywhere except the forum. It may take several hours for the change to synchronize with the systems so the website may not recognize your new address right away. To change the address associated with your forum account you will need to click your username on the top right hand corner of any forum page and then click the "My Settings" option. You should then see an option called "Email & Password" on the left of the page. Clicking this should take you to a page where you can update the email address on your forum account. You will need to validate the new address after you change it. This link https://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=email should take you directly to the Email & Password page mentioned above where you can change the address on your forum account. I can't give you a direct link to change your cPanel address because I don't know which server you are on.

  11. To the best of my knowledge the answer to both questions is yes. Is it worth contacting Softaculous to report the bug?
  12. I'm not worried about getting a reminder email. I don't even think I opted to get emails (it makes me login in to cPanel regularly which means I'm less likely to not login once every 30 days). Usually, when there is an update available it appears in my Outdated Installations list which it is not this time. Any idea why?
  13. Hi, I have a piece of software installed via Softaculous that I know needs an update (Softaculous also shows that the most recent version available for installation is a more recent version than the one I have installed) yet, the update is not showing up in my available updates list. Is HelioHost able to help with this or should I contact Softaculous directly? qsgt
  14. All Johnny accounts have been archived for maintenance. See here (https://www.helionet...ny-maintenance/). However, you are able to download a backup of your account and move it to another server. If you donate an admin will be able to move your account for you to save the hassle of doing it yourself. Please see this post https://www.helionet...johnny-backups/ for more information about downloading your backup and moving your account. There is no estimate for when Johnny will return. He has a rather severe memory leak and may end up being rebuilt again (that'd be round 5...), so I wouldn't expect any time soon. Also, remember that Johnny is an experimental server and is not intended for production hosting. If extended downtime, random quirks, crashes, or unexpected maintenance are problematic for you, Ricky or Tommy are better choices for your account.

  20. Via Google Translate: My account is closed because it is not in use. Username: cvary666Server: tommy Can you open my account?
  21. No, for security reasons HelioHost does not support SSH Access. For answers to this and similar Frequently Asked Questions please see the FAQ Page.
  22. One of Heliohost's Admin's Krydos already has a script to view the list of installed modules. The link to view installed modules for python version 3.6 is https://krydos2.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/modules37.py Similarly this link https://krydos2.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/modules27.py can be used to view the installed modules for python verision 2.7 qsgt
  23. Google Dance was the term given to the period of time when Google published updates to it's index of the world wide web. When this update occurred every 36 days (approximately 10 times per year) it was noticeable to those who looked hard enough because each Google server would display a different number of results for the same search query. However, Google now updates it's index once per week and so the change is considerably less noticeable and the term has fallen out of use. Check out this link https://www.webopedia.com/TERM/G/Google_Dance.html and this link https://metamend.com/archive/education/google-dance/ for more information
  24. Hi Krydos, I have just sent you a PM with an example email that I have sent in the past. Please let me know if you need anything else. qsgt
  25. All replies to the email address that the emails are sent from are forwarded to my personal email. Anyone who wants to be removed from the contacts list is invited to reply to any of the emails they receive asking to be deleted. I'm happy to provide an example of a previous bulk email that was sent but would you mind if I PM'd you instead of posting the content of that email on the forum? qsgt
