  1. sorry, but at the start of the hosting, it said that he would pay $.25 to anyone who had less than 99.9% uptime. he obviously changed it now,
  2. no i am seeing how long it takes DJBOB to close this, and fix this. wow, i didn't expect this to last that long yet...
  3. BUMP ouch, another downtime. it seems like there's a planned downtime at the start of each month for 1 day...
  4. Lets see how long DJBOB takes to change the permissions of this forum, anyone can post a topic in here, a bug.
  5. no, all his site would display would be "<img="http://url/xyz.jpg"> the image is downloaded directly from the hotlink's server, eg photobucket
  6. oh yeah reminds me: i need a quarter, helionet didn't have 99.9% uptime. paypal my MSN messenger account.
  7. what bandwidth? we are hotlinking from somewhere else! and anyways, i am hotlinking a 200x200 picture, so there's no bandwidth saved!
  8. no, really. 64x64 is too small, all other forums (including Krazy Letter) uses 100x100
  9. one problem: hosting is usually $2-7 a month, right? at 250 points, that equals to $0.33, so that isn't fair. the points are not porportionate.
  10. no...the difference is: that's bittorrent, you use a server, and you have your clients help share the file, only shares the server's file that was shared. remove the server. then that's kazaa/others, share ANYTHING on YOUR Computer. then you get the illegal things. sometimes people put illegal things on servers and bittorrent them, but that's another story. kazaa is a network. bitorrent is server-client-client
  11. yes that is what i have been telling him. i increased it on KL when people asked.
  12. but why is it that moderators get the votes? regular members should get consideration too...
  13. WHERE IS DJBOB? HE SHOULD ANSWER!
  14. [ Script Execution time: 2.5669 ] This server needs to be faster, and it crashed again earlier today. we need a better server, and we need a backup forum (see http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=160)
