  1. Did I cause the process over load? If so what was the cause so I can keep it from happening again.

  3. lol. That is what you would call no life. Granted it may seem like I have no life because I am signed on all day at work. But the window just sits in the background while I am doin my work and I check it on my breaks. =P
  4. Never said I didnt like them! They certainly arent my favorite movies, but they were sorta fun and campy. I dont think Im going to watch the 3rd anytime soon though.
  5. The first two were filled with stinky cheese. But at least they kinda had fun with them, this new one... I wont touch it with a 100ft pole.
  6. Ok so tutorial 1 version 2 is up now. I inserted screenshots of the code for version 2. I am currently working on the html version
  7. Three core processors are retarded... just my opinion. Also I would stick with Intel, while the AMD supossedly have better performance the Intel processors far out shine the AMD's in benchmarks.

Wow, I havent had to much time to dig at it but Im impressed with the new heliohost home page! The layout is easy on the eyes, easy to navigate and offers quite a bit of information with minimal navigation required. Excellent job, keep up the good work! Hmm, what do you mean? It seems to line up perfectly to me. Same here, they seem to line up correctly for me as well.
  12. Wow youre one of the first Ive heard give it a negative review, I actually went and saw it again just so I could experience it in IMax. As for posting it in the "other" forum, if thats the case then the whole "art and entertainment" forum should be made "no helion, no post" because they really dont belong there. And almost everything in the A&E forum could be considered not deserving of helions/posts. Not that that it may matter much longer, depending one what happens with the bank and interest.
  13. I would agree to that. As an example, I have over 3000 helions and just over 200 posts, thats around 100 posts worth of helions more than I'd have from posts alone, and thats without getting helions from other people/glitches, just straight interest.
  14. The 'other' forum no longer gives helions Check Here
  15. You recomend what instead? HTML, XHTML, XML, SGML, etc, etc. Blah, I spose I could do that as long as they remain as short as this one. What you got against pdf anyway? I thought it a fairly universal format. What if I embed a pdf reader in the page so it doesnt navagate away from the site? Would that be better?
  16. You recomend what instead? I said it was short, and what it contained... and if i were to write a tutorial on the whole of D3D, it wouldn't be a tutorial it would be a book! Short and sweet and covering one or two topics, thats what a tutorial is. Lol I've used openGL and I like it as well, I think they both have equal merit. Overall I think that openGL is easier to start but is more of a hastle in the long run than DX, just an opinion though.
  17. Wow! Quite the list! Thank you CriBaby for the contribution I'll start making changes to it tonight. Posting here works, that'll keep others who want to contribute from posting duplicate corrections PS: Oh yeah, forgot to say that anyone who contributes to this will be mentioned in the tutorial for it If you want your real name just leave it in the post or send it to me in PM, otherwise I'll use your helionet name. Edit: Corrections List I changed it to: That means I will not be covering things like: making a function call, referencing variables or what a pointer is. Fixed Fixed Changed to: What you will learn is how easy it is to... Also, by screenshots do you meen of the code? or of the running program? Again, much thanks!
  18. Wow those mountains are beautiful I am truly jealous!
  19. Hey helionet! I just put up my first tutorial! And by first I do mean first, like first I've ever writen first. It's fairly short but if anyone has the inclination and time I wouldn't mind some constructive feedback! That meens any sort of spelling/gramatical/syntax errors, as well as any thing you think i could do to make it better. Burning Tutorial #1 Thanks and Enjoy!
