Maybe you should change the location of where you are downloading things. The default is the desktop. What OS are you running? I haven't had any problems with it, and I'm using the minefield version.

Should I take that as a no?

I think Lilium is talking about how sometimes you can just punch in a directory i.e. foo.com/bar, and still get a html page. Or when you 404 on a site, they give you a customized 404 instead of your browser giving you the standard. I've wondered about that myself, but I haven't tried out anything yet. I think if you put an index page in any directory, the browser will automatically go to that page, but the url display will only show the directory. It works in theory anyways.

The download interface is different too, but Firefox is so win already, why change how it looks, right? There has been lots of under the hood tweeking or so I've heard.

Mplayer hands down for video in Linux, but I use all sorts of things for audio. Heck, sometimes I just turn on the radio instead of messing with my computer.

A show of hands, who here has Firefox 3? I think 6/17 was firefox download day, where they tried to get the most downloads per 24 hours ever. I'm on firefox right now, the new system is brilliant. IE7 is dead. Any thoughts?
