Has anyone read this?
It's a essay about the state of computing in recent times [recent = 1999 ], this is actually an annotated version that includes more recent news [2004], but is still kinda old. However, I find that the information is still relevant today.
It has MGBs, TANKS, AND BATMOBILES in it!
...and monkey chauffeurs!

I agree, there are quite a few n00bs double posting and necromancing, there's few real conversations, and half the time I post, I have to tell some person to read the big, red lettering on the top of the forum.
Your choices are limited if you are not allowed to install software on other computers.
Your computer also has to be on and connect to the 'net if you want to access it. I guess if you were desperate, you could open a port on your computer, and end up setting up some funky ftp thing, so you could view it with a browser by punching in your IP address:port. However, I discourage this because of the major security risk you would be running. J. Random Cracker could break into your comp with ease, given the right tools.
Please use better grammar next time you post. I cannot give much help, because I know nothing of vbasic, however, the status area is the same as the system tray I think, I see no differences.
Your best shot at finding a solution is not posting in a forum, but using this, she's your friend.
Dude, you're making little sense, please expound on your thoughts more so that the general public may understand what you're trying to communicate.
I googled logmein to understand what you were getting at, and YES, there are many programs, everything from remote desktop to good ol' ssh.
Oh not that long, you'll receive it as soon as we have your soul
Just kidding, djbob appoints the accounts around here, you'll have to wait about a week. If you don't have it after a week, it means you either did something wrong, or djbob's busy/lazy.
Yeah, giving us so little information isn't exactly the best way to ask for help. You have to at least attempt to describe what sort of problem you are encountering. Off the top of my head, I'd say djbob hasn't validated your account yet, so all you can do is wait. Off the slightly less top of my head, I hope you have typed in your username without capitals, or else cpanel won't log you in.
I haven't been able to check out The Sarah Jane Adventures or Torchwood... not enough time :/
Not to mention I don't have the SciFi channel
Is the Sarah Jane Adventures as good as Doctor Who?
When will this start happening? I need to know of any server downtimes for the next month because my website is going to be under review for a school project.
