IMVU is sorta overkill. Instant messaging started as text and is most efficient that way... 3d avatars are alright, but it's all just shiny stuff. I use Pidgin, cross-platform, multiple protocol messneger. Open source ftw.

I thought the big dude upstairs (at least from Christianity) made two people, and everyone else descended from them. Then when they were making a tower to the dude's house, he got mad and made everyone speak different languages, and so different cultures emerged from that. If by that you mean have a subdomain ending in .heliohost.org, yes. If you mean getting a top level domain through Helionet, you must provide your own info. It's a legal thing.

For some reason, I don't think terrorists would be on Bit Torrent. Child pr0n might be something worth looking into however. That's bad stuff, and it shouldn't be done in ANY country. [in my opinion anyways] And as for copyrighted stuff, people know the risks when they do that, they can be screwed over by the RIAA and the MPAA[sued]. The gov't doesn't need to monitor that.

I don't like Flash without a feasible substitute for when the visitor doesn't have Flash, because I support the 'Any Browser' campaign, and last time I checked, the Lynx browser[text-only] doesn't do flash

Araggleragglearg. I just got back into it... yah I have nothing better to do. The 3k limit in itself can be exploited. I was hacked once, out of several mil, no worries though, I bounced back. I find that leveling up stats is kinda pointless, and as it is shown on this thread alone, is the main reason why people quit. So I'm comfy where I am... and no, I'm not gonna tell what level I am, because I'm kinda paranoid about this sorta stuff. I will say that I have sara rune armor and bunny ears .

I have a laptop that's about a year or two old. It's fast. Any experienced user running on Linux should have fairly fast computers, no matter how old they are. [i'm running Linux, ftw.] That's godly *bows down*
