the ads will be banner ads at the top of your website, and will be placed on all your webpages. for now, you're gonna have to install the ads yourself. if I get enough money, im looking into getting an apache mod installed onto another server (dedicated or VPS) to automate the ads. i found a WHM addon thing btw... i just need the extra ad money to be able to buy another server.

I download mp3s *cough* legally *cough*. i dont buy cds. im really strong-opinioned on this one: we are taught to share since we were kids, and now big corporations are saying its illegal? bad. record companies need to get into the new century. they need to find a way to allow online downloading in a way that current mp3 downloaders would agree to.

What kind of ads do you mean? If you mean the new ad program, you should post there, and not here... wrong topic. if you mean on your website in standard post-required hosting, NO ads will be posted ANYWHERE.

yeh, but i dont have the money for 2.0. and gamemaster has a point... the "deducted" thing is kinda mod impersonation. dont do that again, or ill subtract points. impersonation is in the Rules Guide, that gets way more point subtracted... well, just dont do it in blue plz. k? any myscrnnm, your posts are about as useless as they get, no offense. i mean no offense, but... i mean, that post you just made is pretty useless. no offense!! and regardless of the efficency, use the report button. plus, its actually more efficient, cuz i check my email more often than my PMs.

Hmmmm... I like the idea. I can do that, sure. I'll give you 100mb more space and 1gb more bw if you add ads to your site, but keep posting... sounds good. but i really need to get this thing automated, to make it so ads AUTOMATICALLY appear on some sites. I NEED A WHM ADDON!!!

well, sry, lemme clarify: you dont have to post monthly. or at all, until teh 10. Its a way to verify that you indeed are a valid webhosting-wanter person i want. we are currently looking into automating the signup process, and that will remove the need for the mandatory 10-posts first requirement thing.

HelioHost is now offering no-post-required-except-one-time-10-posts-but-you-have-ads hosting (lol). That means... well, you won't have to post monthly for the hosting, but you will have ads that aren't your own on it. This plan offers all that the posting one does, but... - Will be terminated if you are inactive for thirty days - Will be terminated if no web BW used for thirty days (IE, just for webspace) - Will be terminated if ads not present for seven days In order to get this plan, however, you MUST already have 10 posts on these forums. This requirement will be gone once we find a way to automate this... then we'll also add this plan to the main heliohost.org site. If you want to register for this kind of hosting, simply POST HERE me, with the following info: ...a. Your email ...b. Domain or Subdomain? (DOMAIN MUST ALREADY BE REGISTERED IF CHOSEN) ...c. If domain is chosen, the domain name ...d. If subdomain is chosen, the subdomain name. I will reply to you with the script required to added for the ads. Remember, you only have seven days to add the ad script, preferably ASAP! Also, anyone have any idea how we can automate this?

actually, you can just have it as a msword document through teh internet, and you wont have to download anything. just access the word doc. through its exact URL, i believe that should work.

yeh, i like 64-bit, but HT is cool too. and i belive xeon offer 64-bit... and i dont think the 6xx series of p4 offers 64-bit. maybe ur thinking the other socket, the one that starts with a 7... lol. maybe im wrong, im not so researched in this topic.

if you would have read teh enforcement guide, you would know only 10 Helions are deducted on teh first offense of the spam guide. thats a first offense. 10 points subtracted.

alright, you gotta make better posts than that. 1. try making your title a little clearer... i got no clue what you meant. 2. describe more in your post! what if someone doesn't know what wordpress is? or even doesn't know what a blog is? 3. if you do taht again, you'll get points deducted. look up at the header, where it says "HelioNet Guidelines," and click that. then click the spam guide, and read it.
