When I did a speed test with Gtmetix I found out that my website loaded in only 1.2 seconds with a TTFB of 963 milliseconds. That is really fast considering, 1 I did not optimize the speed of my website, 2 I used WordPress, three I have a ton of different posts, and 4 this is a FREE hosting. To compare that a website hosted on a good webserver in Hostinger (a paid shared hosting plan) with nothing on it had also had a loading speed of 1.2 seconds. Thank You Heliohost for this High Quality Hosting.1 point

You need to create your own account there and you will be able to link your domain and install the apps through FTP1 point

Softaculous isn't available currently but you can use the softaculous remote website at https://remote.softaculous.com.1 point

We have a 728x90 banner for you to use on your site if you want. It looks like this: Just put this code on your page so we can see how many people view the banner and how many clicks it gets: <ins data-revive-zoneid="1" data-revive-id="321e1cec4956204a54bd86da12deea5b"></ins><script async src="//krydos.heliohost.org/a/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script> Let us know if there is a certain size banner that would work better for you and we can create one for you.1 point

The good thing now is that plesk comes with nginx caching which will make the site even more faster.1 point

As much as we love to hate on WP around here, I have to admit that number is extremely impressive. And yes, when the content on it is set up correctly (and it's tested outside of registration hours since Tommy does often slow down around midnight UTC), a Tommy account can in fact be faster than some paid hosts.1 point

It's stuff like this that keeps me motivated to keep HelioHost going. Thanks for the awesome post!1 point

You're welcome A good number of our users are experimenting programmers like you, and it's one of the main reasons we exist. Everyone has to start somewhere, and we're happy to be a part of that for many of our users. If there's anything you need, feel free to let us know!1 point

Are you able to do this @jomgapuz? If not I will design one but I don't want to interfere.1 point

That one is small, but legible enough I think. <ins data-revive-zoneid="7" data-revive-id="321e1cec4956204a54bd86da12deea5b"></ins><script async src="//krydos.heliohost.org/a/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script>1 point

Haha, sorry to be picky but possible that logo as it looks amazing bt at 50x50? Cheers!1 point
-
Yes, it's possible, but it's probably going to look pretty terrible. I made a transparent background one that might fit your round theme better: <ins data-revive-zoneid="6" data-revive-id="321e1cec4956204a54bd86da12deea5b"></ins><script async src="//krydos.heliohost.org/a/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script> Haha, I was already working on it before you asked...1 point
-
Whatever you did also fixed the old code. Is it possible to get a transparent logo?1 point
-
For some reason that old code for the 320x50 stopped working. Here's some new code that does work: <ins data-revive-zoneid="5" data-revive-id="321e1cec4956204a54bd86da12deea5b"></ins><script async src="//krydos.heliohost.org/a/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script> I edited the above posts to reflect the change in case someone comes along and starts copy/pasting the old broken code.1 point

one second, let me upload it. While i'm uploading, is it possible to have the "powered by HelioHost" logo without the space background but still the sun? Files uploaded at bailey.cf, it should be in the footer.1 point

Does the async code here https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/28401-put-our-banner-on-your-site/?p=135345 not work?1 point

Okay, thank you for them, if its no hassle, can I also have a 75x150, so it looks good in all situations. Thanks! (So it is logo on left, text on the right with the space background) Actually, this should do fine: https://krydos.heliohost.org/a/www/images/fac589ef6b9f6b3bb0400a23439fc29c.png How would I include it with your asyc script?1 point

Here's a 100x100 image for you: And here's the code to put it on your site. <ins data-revive-zoneid="3" data-revive-id="321e1cec4956204a54bd86da12deea5b"></ins><script async src="//krydos.heliohost.org/a/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script> Here's a 50x50 image for you: And here's the code to put it on your cite: <ins data-revive-zoneid="4" data-revive-id="321e1cec4956204a54bd86da12deea5b"></ins><script async src="//krydos.heliohost.org/a/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script> Sorry it took so long to make this. I just remembered your request.1 point

Well without being too pacific, a small (about 100x100) extra small, so just a logo, (about 50x50) then one big image thats about (1000x1000) that can be scalable. I know this sounds like strange requests but could they possibly be round. Id prefer if they we sent square but still look presentable with a round border, like my main image over at https://bailey.cf Thanks, Bailey1 point

No, but it can probably be made for you. How many pixels by how many pixels would be good for you?1 point
-
Have you got a small logo that be suitable for a footer if I was to include within the footer over at Bailey.cf? Im happy to include a "Powered by HelioHost" and then link to your website if that's easier but I will (when I get round to it) write an in-depth article on your site but need to finish development first! Thanks!1 point

Here's a 320x50 mobile banner for you: And here's the code to put on your page: <ins data-revive-zoneid="5" data-revive-id="321e1cec4956204a54bd86da12deea5b"></ins><script async src="//krydos.heliohost.org/a/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script> How does that look? If you want a different size or different text I can customize it however you would like.1 point

The wiki hasn't been updated for most things since we switched to Plesk. As a result it references a lot of features and functionality that we no longer offer, Softaculous being among them.0 points
