i am trying to create upvoter site for steemit.com. and use steem-api via python. so there is nothing illegal or bad. i think this api uses sockets and it makes sense. i hope heliohost won't permit my connection. and of course i can't configure their api. i hope everything will work out. and am i able to run pip install process with cronjob?1 point

He'll need to install those most likely. As for sockets, they do, but be aware outbound connections can only be made on standard ports (21,25,80,443,etc.). We block all the others unless you specifically request them and can justify their need (we generally recommend you reconfigure your target server to use a common port instead). Inbound connections on custom ports are not permitted at all. Escalating.1 point
