Hello HelioHost Team, My username is diegoanc280 and I am on the Johnny server. I recently inquired about SSH access to manage my Python backend, but since it is disabled for security reasons, I would like to request the following to properly set up my development environment in Plesk: Python Selector/Icon: Could you please enable the Python tool in my Plesk control panel? I need it to manage my application root, versions (preferably 3.12), and the WSGI entry point. Package Installation: Since I cannot use pip via terminal, could you please install the following libraries for my account: Flask requests psycopg2-binary (for PostgreSQL database connectivity) flask-cors (for API cross-origin requests) I am a Systems Engineering student working on a backend API for a data project, and having these tools enabled in Plesk would allow me to work efficiently without needing full SSH access. Thank you for your support and for providing this service to the community.

Your account was suspended because you exceeded your storage limit. You have 3 options to regain access to your account: You are able to regain access to your account immediately without waiting for an admin by increasing your account's storage space. This storage space upgrade is good for the life of the account, and has no monthly cost. Tell us which files you would like deleted and an admin can delete them for you to get you back under your current storage limit. If you're not sure which files are taking up all of your space an admin can provide a detailed storage space usage report for you. We can also reset your account for you which deletes all files, deletes all settings, and restores your account back to the default state with 0 MB of storage usage.

[Solved] Unsolicited email thanking me for a recent 'purchase'?

The email is legit, but it comes from trustpilot directly so we don't have any control over the language used in them. They always say purchase, even if it was a donation or even a free user. It's just a request for a review. These have a chance of being sent whenever our system sends an email to you, in your case that review request actually was triggered by the terms of service update. -

On hosting accounts, secure shell access (SSH) is disabled for security reasons. In many cases, SSH is not actually necessary. If you let us know the command you want to run, we can investigate other ways to accomplish the same task without SSH. Domain name: https://stasi.heliohost.org/ Username: stasi2 Server: Tommy Today I received two emails ostensibly from HelioHost, one (from support@heliohost.org) about the updated terms of use, and another (from noreply.invitations@trustpilotmail.com) thanking me for a recent purchase from HelioHost and asking me to rate it. Interestingly, it addressed me by my first name, which it could have just grabbed from my email, but which I don't know is otherwise associated with my HelioHost account. I don't recall making a 'purchase' from HelioHost short of a $5 donation I made in 2021 to move my website to Tommy. As a result, I just wanted to reach out to ask if this was sent in error, or elsewise why it was sent, or if it's some sort of scam or phishing attempt (in which case I figured you ought to know about it anyway!). A copy of the email is attached. Thanks for your time, and sorry for any trouble or inconvenience.

Since our servers are located in that state, we are required to comply with the new laws. * The Tommy and Johnny servers use Plesk non-profit licenses, so commercial websites are not allowed on those plans. If your business is just starting out, you can set up your website on the free hosting, but we will periodically review your account. If we decide that your business no longer counts as a micro-business, we will require you to move to Morty or a VPS. * For people who choose to run paid software, our policy has always been to ask for proof of purchase to make sure the paid software is legally licensed. We're adding this policy to our Terms of Service, so users are aware prior to installation that providing proof will be required. * It really should be common sense not to attack your own website and attack your own host, but not everyone has common sense unfortunately, so we're adding it to our Terms of Service that you can't stress test your own website. DKIM, SPF, and DMARC have been set up for the domain logospres.heliohost.us. We recommend sending a real email (not just the word "test" or a blank email) to https://www.mail-tester.com/ to make sure that everything is set up correctly. If you get less than a 10/10 score please post a link to the full report so we can help you fix any other issues that there may be. -

I think I was able to get everything back up and running... Thank you guys for thinking ahead and automatically doing a site and database bk when moving accounts to a new server. We can close this support request email now.

Hold off on my last request. I located a db backup from Mar 11. Gonna explore it and see if I can get the data rebuilt for the new instance. If I have any issues, I will follow up. Thanks
