For now it seems to do the job dear Krydos. So actually having Roundcube enabled as a webmail tool, appears to be very useful now. Despite the fact that Roundcube is not activated on your servers by default anymore (for understandable reasons). Is there a way (for you as their client and me as end-user) to insist at Plesk to solve their more than one year old bug on short notice? Kind regards.

I took a look at it too, and it's very bizarre. Even on the PayPal website your subscription doesn't have an email attached to it somehow, even though every single other subscription we've ever done has had an email address. The payment itself has an email though. Thanks for letting us know. We may have to adjust our website code to handle this situation if it ever occurs again. For now it looks like a fluke though.

You can create the UX folder and move everything to it, but the problem is you didn't move things you just copied them. When you copy a file it leaves the original where it was, and you end up with 2 of every file and it uses double the space. If you move a file it removes the original file and you end up using the same space before and after the move. Can you login now?

Hi Krydos, you can delete the UX folder for now, it would make enough space for me get hold of my account and delete some other stuff. I made a copy because I wanted to move the content on the root folder on this new folder called UX. Than I tested and saw there was no https://professorparticular.info/UX. So I decided to wait for the site to be chached and check later to see if it was in the right place. I didn't realize I went over my 1000 limit. There are some pdf files that I will delete. Just as we are at it, can you tell me which folder I should place it if I want to move this foder to be https://professorparticular.info/UX? Thanks

I followed up on this in the staff channel for you, and it turns out this was a PayPal API malfunction. Paypal didn't send us your email address after you paid. Your VPS built when you paid, but the welcome email with login instructions couldn't go out because we had nowhere to send it. We've corrected the issue manually and have sent the welcome email. This is the first time PayPal has failed to provide an email address for the purchase. We've built over 700 of these and never had an issue with the email address not syncing correctly after purchase until today.

It's showing queued for some reason. It looks like you picked Ubuntu 24 so it should've built itself and sent a welcome email within an hour or so of being purchased. Escalating to figure out what happened and get it fixed...

I did not try the filters in Roundcube yet because I thought Plesk control panel would do the job. I tried it now though. Please see attached picture. Is this what you mean by using the filters of Roundcube to do the job (i.e. moving unwanted e-mail directly to the spam folder)? Kindly awaiting your reply and kind regards.

I've just noticed you've tried to create a Morty account, and if you used the same email address as on your Tommy account, the account creation would not work (which is what I guess you meant when you got an error). I see you've now re-created a Tommy account with the username you wanted. I've flagged the Morty account creation in our staff channel in case that needs root admin attention. Are you trying to have 1 account on Tommy, and a 2nd account on Morty (which is permitted)? Or did you only want to have 1 account on Morty? Please let us know and we can change things as needed for you.

The only way to change your HelioHost account username is with an account reset. I've reset your account and you should receive an email shortly so you can take the next steps to recreate it. When you recreate the account, you will be able to create a new username if the one you want is available. You will then be asked to choose a domain name, and this can be different than your username, if you want. If your requested domain is available, it will be added to your account. I have a web project in development. It connects to a hosted database and a hosted email. At home I use WAMP and VS Code Terminal node server.js for testing. At home the project works: connects to the database and sends email. I opened a HelioHost, Johnny server account to test the project online, because Helio supports node.js, and is free. In my first attempt I got the connection to the database to work, but not the email. I reset the account to try to start again. Now the email works but not the database connection. When I open the website, https://wapps.helioho.st, using Chrome incognito browser, and try to I get the following errors: displayed on the page: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON; console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) users/login:1. I am not getting any log error messages. The node version I am using at home is 18.20.5 and on Helio 18.20.8. The only changes I knowingly made between the first attempt and the reset was code affecting the email function (which is working now after the reset). I do have an .env file in the root directory, which I find is needed to make the email function work. I eliminated it to try the database connection and got the same errors. I have double, tripled and quadruple checked the environmental variables I inputted into the Plesk Node.js page. “I work a lot with Grok AI to resolve issues. This has us both stumped. I gave Grok the code for the following files: login.html, server.js and .env (to verify the environmental variables).
