Hi, I don't think I violated any terms of use. But anyway, my account was suspended while I was developing and finishing my site. My site is designed to generate links for personal use, does it not allowed?

Hello, I am not able to ssh into VPS12. I recently upgraded from ubuntu 20 to 22. I was able to upgrade, but after reboot, I am not able to ssh into it.

@KazVee, Python 3.12 Noted about the guidelines. Thanks!

Please let us know what version of Python you need the module installed for: 3.9 or 3.12? We have a page in the Wiki that explains the details we need to consider requests for additional modules, if you need to ask for others in the future. 🙂 It also has links to see all the modules already installed on the server that are available to use: https://wiki.helionet.org/Python_Tutorial#Request_Additional_Python_Modules

Hey everyone, My website is fully live, but I’m running into some frustrating issues. The most frequent problem is a 503 Service Unavailable error. Occasionally, I also get a 504 Gateway Timeout. On top of that, the site experiences constant lag though oddly, when I ping the domain, I get a stable 53ms response. However, trying to load specific pages results in endless loading and sluggish performance. My users trying to access the website also experience the same things I did. I’m trying to figure out whether this is a problem with the website itself or something related to the server configuration. Would really appreciate any insights or suggestions! Thanks in advance Cheers!

You've got to admit this does not scream "I'm a legitimate email provider" We see criminals, phishers, spammers, etc. sign up with email addresses that when checked have messages like this all the time. Unsuspended.
-
Hi, It is not a disposable email address. It is an alias. I apply aliases to every account I sign up for. Banks, cellular providers, airlines, etc. The alias forwards the email back to my primary email address. That way I can maintain my privacy and not have spam going direct to my primary email. Also, I can filter any spam messages based on which alias receives it. It is a sensible way to handle email accounts. Right now I could generate a fresh gmail address and give you that as my contact detail. Now that (gmail) would really be a disposable address. If my alias email is "disposable" then how come I am seeing daily "LetsEncrypt" warning email alerts showing up on it. Disposable = Use it once for an hour, and then it disappears. Alias: yncfvzbi@anonaddy.me Alias service: https://addy.io Regards, Jordan.

[Wolstech] Request to create an account on Lily
r2utechnologies posted a topic in Escalated Requests
Hello, i'd like to deploy a ASP.NET app and i've noticed that it must be done on Lily. is it possible to create an account for me? Thank you! -
All HelioHost staff are volunteers who help out in their spare time. In order to be mindful of their time, please make sure you check the list of modules already installed on your server before asking for modules, to make sure you are not asking for things that are already installed. For example, you have asked for numpy and pandas, both of which are already available on both Python 3.9 and Python 3.12 on the Tommy server that you're on. If you need a different version of these than the ones already installed, please provide this information as part of your request. Please take a moment to review the list of modules already installed against your request list. You can use Control + F to search for the module names on the page. Once you've doublechecked you are not asking for other modules that already exist on the server for the version of Python you're using, please let us know, and be sure to also confirm which version of Python you need them for. Thanks very much! 🙂

[Krydos] Django+Postgres (migration) and Logging
Krydos replied to an4s911's topic in Escalated Requests
Plesk doesn't do a very good job of filtering Passenger and WSGI logs. It's only accessible to root admins because it has a lot of private info from other accounts in the same file. Create a file named .env and use the python module dotenv to load it. -

Thanks a lot for giving me remote access for the postgres. Where can I see this log? I looked for it all over the logs section in Plesk, couldn't find it. Another question is, how can I use environment variables when deploying? -

What version of Python do you need these installed for?

It's because you're trying to use an email address that is already associated with your Morty account that you deleted. I removed the email address from your deleted Morty account, and the new Tommy account created just fine. I sent you a password reset email, and once you click the link in that email to set a new password you should be able to login. Out of curiosity, why did you delete your Morty account only to create a Tommy account again a few days later?

[Krydos] Django+Postgres (migration) and Logging
wolstech replied to an4s911's topic in Escalated Requests
To access it from a Django app running on our server, yes just localhost. To access it remotely, you’ll use the server host name (tommy.heliohost.org). Escalating to Krydos. -
Hi, Could you please assist with installing the following dependencies for my project?
-
Hello, I'm trying to convert my Django (v5.0.7, python version 3.12.7) project to work on my Morty account (specifically my testing domain papasenpai.heliohost.us), however I cant seem to get it working. I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge of the subject. I have followed the Django tutorial https://wiki.helionet.org/Converting_an_Existing_Django_App#Converting_an_Existing_Django_App_to_work_on_HelioHost, and I still get this error: Here is my directory structure: Here is my .htaccess: Finally here is my dispatch.wsgi: Thank you, Troy
