  2. I have a web project in development. It connects to a hosted database and a hosted email. At home I use WAMP and VS Code Terminal node server.js for testing. At home the project works: connects to the database and sends email. I opened a HelioHost, Johnny server account to test the project online, because Helio supports node.js, and is free. In my first attempt I got the connection to the database to work, but not the email. I reset the account to try to start again. Now the email works but not the database connection. When I open the website, https://wapps.helioho.st, using Chrome incognito browser, and try to I get the following errors: displayed on the page: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON; console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) users/login:1. I am not getting any log error messages. The node version I am using at home is 18.20.5 and on Helio 18.20.8. The only changes I knowingly made between the first attempt and the reset was code affecting the email function (which is working now after the reset). I do have an .env file in the root directory, which I find is needed to make the email function work. I eliminated it to try the database connection and got the same errors. I have double, tripled and quadruple checked the environmental variables I inputted into the Plesk Node.js page. “I work a lot with Grok AI to resolve issues. This has us both stumped. No Log Error Messages: The absence of log errors could mean that the Node.js app isn't even processing the request (e.g., Apache isn't forwarding requests to the app), or the logging middleware (morganMiddleware or logger) isn't capturing errors correctly.” I wondering if my service on Helio is functioning. PLEASE, ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. Otherwise I will try to reset and try again.

  6. User has also requested the domain add in Discord. I've re-sent them the reminder from yesterday about ETAs and that creating duplicate requests across Discord / the forum can cause delays.

  9. Tools & Settings is global server settings section for admins, which is why you can't see that. That guide is for blocking email addresses/domains for the entire server, not a single user.

  11. Thank you dear Wolstech for your quick reply. I did find this information on the internet: https://www.eukhost.com/kb/how-to-add-and-remove-domain-from-blacklist-in-plesk/. In this tutorial there is a "Tools & Settings" section. I did found out that in my Plesk control tool, the section "Tools & Settings" is missing. Is that the reason maybe that the black list feature does not work? However, on individual email level I can enter blacklisted emails, but -as said- it does not work in practise. Hopefully Krydos or someone else might be able to solve this. 🙂 Kind regards.

  18. Dear support team, For one email address in my account I use the ‘black list’ feature (advanced settings). In the control panel it is clearly explained that “Emails from senders in the black list are classified as spam”. I made two entries in the black list: one specific email address and a generic for a specific domain like *@specificdomain.cl. I notice however that your system is neglecting my black list entries. Instead that these incoming emails are not classified as spam, therefore not put in the spam folder but remain in the inbox. I can’t find any related topic for this on the forum. That is why I now turn to you and kindly request your assistance. Question: how to activate the black list feature in such a way, that blacklisted emails are classified as spam and put into the spam folder? Thank you very much and kind regards.

  23. Hello! Adding a domain as an addon domain wouldn't delete your existing content. Because you mentioned it's OK to delete what you already have on there, do you maybe mean you want to change your main domain, so the new .es domain you have is the only domain on your account? You can also keep your existing free heliohost.us domain and have the new .es one added, it's up to you. I just want to make sure we set things up as you want them. Please let us know and we can make the changes. 🙂
