[Solved] Please enable SSH access for my account: nazzkid207
MoneyBroz replied to nazzkid207's topic in Customer Service
SSH is disabled on shared hosting for security reasons. if you need to use it, then you would have to get a VPS. -
The two domains have been created and are pointed at your VPS.
-
Thanks for your reply I will look into the solution you mentioned and get back to you on this. Till then can you please create two subdomains one adguard.heliohost.us and other traefik.heliohost.us for my username o1mark1

Your VPS is broken, and most of the critical files are deleted, and it needs a rebuild, do you need any files backed up before we start?

Just an update, they're currently working on your VPS. Our normal management tool couldn't login either, and it wouldn't even power off cleanly because open VM tools isn't responding. If you had any websites or other public facing services hosted on there, they'll be down for a little while as they're working on it.

The backup archive isn't meant to be restored directly, bur rather it needs to be unpacked on your PC. Use the link I gave above to download the archive, then unpack it using the instructions here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Account_Backups There should be .sql files inside if databases are in the backup. You can import the .sql file to an empty database to restore the database.
-
Quick follow up: When I navigate to Websites and Domains -> news.burken.com -> Backup and Restore, I see a backup there from Aug 1st. When I try to download, it says "Warning: This backup can be restored by the Plesk administrator only.". I don't know what is in there so not asking for a blind restore, but could a backup of any db be in there? If so, anyway I could check those db backups? Thanks
-
Thank you for getting back to me on this. Much appreciated. Always prompt and helpful replies from you guys.... Cheers... Will download the backup and investigate if the data is there. Also thanks for the tip on resetting the db password. Duh! Didn't think about that at all.
-
This support request is being escalated to our VPS admins.
-
The password reset shows a message on my side saying that it failed and an admin needs to manually reset it. Escalating.
-
I have reset my password and are still getting the same error.
-
There are two databases showing on that account. If it's returning an access denied error, try resetting the database user's password. It's possible the account move caused the password to become invalid. If the database is missing entirely, a backup from April 14 is available for your account at https://heliohost.org/backup/ You could download that and check to see if an export of the DB exists in there.

username: chrisohps domain in question: news.burken.com / Monty My account was suspended recently because I forgot to make the donation on time. The domain(s) were reinstated promptly once I made the donation and I appreciate the prompt and practically immediate restore. (I'll make sure I keep up my donations in the future) If I remember correctly, there was a database attached to that account before the suspension. Are databases backed up or saved in any way when accounts are suspended? If so, where can I get access or have that db restored because once the account was restored, all connections from the app to the db returned invalid credentials and it looked like the db was no longer there. Just some help to clarify or help in restoring that db because to get the app back up and running, I had to create a brand new db and hence lost any previous settings for the app. Thanks for any clarification or help on the matter. Chris

How about the domain adguard.heliohost.us or adguard.helioho.st? Cloudflare doesn't recognize our subdomains as being owned by different people so you can't put them all on different Cloudflare accounts. As soon as someone convinces Cloudflare that domain1.heliohost.us is owned by person1 and domain2.heliohost.us is owned by person2 then it will work.
-
Hello can you add the domain https://blackseacrypt.helioho.st

username: o1mark1 subdomain to be added : adguard.vps35.heliohost.us One more thing. Can I point my vps domain nameservers to cloudflares so that I can manage and create new subdomain on my own without hassle of troubling you people.
-
Thank you very much
-
Domain added, it'll take effect in about twenty five minutes. Unfortunately, Plesk does not allow for setting a target directory for a domain.
-
Domains added, they'll take effect in about 25 minutes. Even though they are subdomains, they still count towards the 10 domains limit.

Hi, It's been a long time. Anyway, I need some subdomains for my site. Here are the list: ai.mrj.heliohost.us atozflix.mrj.heliohost.us store.mrj.heliohost.us shop.mrj.heliohost.us bin.mrj.heliohost.us s.mrj.heliohost.us Also, since they are subdomains, will they count toward my domain's quota?
