Only admins can change the root directory. Because it requires manual effort from unpaid volunteer staff, all requests to change the root directory must have a legitimate reason. You can read more about that here: https://wiki.helionet.org/FAQ#Can_I_change_my_document_root_directory? If you're planning on using Laravel, Plesk offers a way to set the document root yourself, by using the Laravel Toolkit. You can read more about that here: https://wiki.helionet.org/Laravel

[Solved] Account suspended from going over the 1gb limit.
wolstech replied to sphinx0945's topic in Escalated Requests
Backups deleted. I also disabled the scheduled job so it doesn't just immediately fill up again tonight when it runs. The account might take up to 2 hours to start working again. -

Account guruji has been unsuspended. It may take a few minutes to start working. If you want to have more than one website, you can have 10 separate domains on the same account. Do you want me to merge the domain from the other account into the one you kept so you can have both websites on one account?

Dear HelioHost Support Team, I hope you are doing well. I am writing to request assistance regarding the suspension of my account associated with the domain guruji.helioho.st. I sincerely apologize for the mistake I made. I created two separate accounts without realizing that the HelioHost terms allow only one Johnny/Tommy account per person. This was an honest oversight on my part, as I had not fully read the terms at the time of registration. I kindly request that you please reactivate my original account (guruji.helioho.st) and allow me to continue using it. I take full responsibility for the misunderstanding and assure you that I will follow all HelioHost rules moving forward. I have no intention of creating multiple accounts again. If possible, you may permanently delete or close the second account (vip.helioho.st) so that I remain compliant with your policy. Thank you very much for your time, understanding, and support. I truly appreciate the free services HelioHost provides and hope to resolve this issue. Warm regards, Guruji

I would like to delete some files, and that would be the backups and just left the last backup made. I am also planning on expanding the storage for more of my future projects. But for now deleting some of the files would be the best choice. THANKS! -
I received this message'1001.6 MB used of 1000 MB', please help in deleting some files as i cannot access file manager.

[Solved] Account suspended from going over the 1gb limit.

That does seem to be the case. An administrator can delete some files for you once they're awake (it's currently nighttime in the US). Are there any files you'd like to be deleted? Alternatively, you can either reset your account from scratch or expand your storage for a small fee. -
I've added that domain to your account for you. Please note that it may take up to 2 hours for the domain change to take effect. If after a full 2 hours it doesn't work on your side, please make sure you clear your web browser cache: https://wiki.helionet.org/Clear_Your_Cache

[Solved] Remote DB Access for Small Project
johnnythrash replied to johnnythrash's topic in Customer Service
I did not even look at MariaDB, I will do that to make it easier. Thank you so much for your help; it truly is appreciated. Very best, -J -
Yes, staff members can add domains for you at your request. You can ask for a .heliohost.us/.helioho.st domain, or a domain of your choosing if you have one through a domain registrar. Here's a wiki article describing the details: https://wiki.helionet.org/Addon_Domains

I would like to ask if it is possible to add a new domain to my account? If so, please inform me of the necessary steps or requirement Thanks

[Solved] Remote DB Access for Small Project
wolstech replied to johnnythrash's topic in Customer Service
I assume Postgres? If so, we just need the database name and database user that needs remote access and we can set it up for you. If it's MariaDB, you can do it yourself in Plesk (it's at the bottom of the database user's properties below the permissions). -
Okay. Thank You !

I have an important e-mail that I need to receive that keeps getting rejected at the server level for failing the DMARC check (specifically "Found DMARC record contained a bad v= value"). I admittedly know next to nothing about DMARC but based on google it looks like really they need to fix their server, however a year after notifying their tech support of the issue I'm having the same problem. Is there anything that can be done on my account to allow me to receive e-mail from one specific domain even if it doesn't pass the DMARC settings? If it helps my understand of the log seems to indicate the DMARC expects <domain>.com and the message in fact comes from email.<domain>.com

Hey! I'm building a small app on Render.com that maybe 4 people will use for some API data verification. I need remote access to my database so I can hit it from both Render and my home dev environment. Traffic will be super light, minimal footprint. Can you open up remote access? Happy to lock it down by IP—my home IP is static at 50.86.241.15. If you know Render.com's IP block, great. If not, I'll track it down. Let me know what you need from me. Thanks!
