Hello Heliohost Support, I have started to face the same issue I described here For a reason, the connection to Aiven seems to be refused every time my Node.js app tries to get up. It continues approximately within last few days. Has something changed or custom port 23579 is now blocked for my account? Thank you!

Thank you. I got that changed. I will move forward in a few hours, letting it activate.

[Solved] pip install fastapi in morty
Krydos replied to bestpricefinder's topic in Escalated Requests
Installed. -
We had another person report a similar problem. They actually answered our questions though. They said they were using Google Chrome, and when they disabled their plugins the signup process started working for them. They said the plugins they disabled were Scribe and Meta Pixel helper. I have tested signups with both of those plugins installed, and still can't reproduce the issue. Not sure what is going on, but if you're still having issues let us know and we can investigate further.

[Solved] Add a domain to my HelioHost account
wolstech replied to tecandsoftsrv's topic in Customer Service
Domain added. Please be sure to configure DNS. The domain can take up to 2 hours to start working. -
DKIM, SPF, and DMARC have been set up for the domain eliazar.heliohost.us. We recommend sending a real email (not just the word "test" or a blank email) to https://www.mail-tester.com/ to make sure that everything is set up correctly. If you get less than a 10/10 score please post a link to the full report so we can help you fix any other issues that there may be.

We recommend avoiding Wordpress for this exact reason. It's extremely inefficient, slow, and insecure compared to almost every other choice: https://wiki.helionet.org/WordPress It's also the #1 leading cause of hacked accounts and accidental bans. Upgrading to Morty (or a VPS, perhaps with a control panel on it for ease of use) would improve performance, but even there you're probably not going to get sub-1 second load times without switching away from WP.

[Solved] unsuspend my account
Krydos replied to mimmobile146's topic in Suspended and Queued Accounts
503 errors are normal for up to 2 hours after being unsuspended. It's been about 2 hours now since you were unsuspended for the second time so they should have resolved themselves now. If you're still seeing 503 errors let us know. If you get suspended for a third time don't ask for an unsuspension unless you are ready to fix the issue immediately. - Last week

High server load most likely. If the server is too busy, Passenger tries to start your app but the server can't finish in time, so it times out and that error appears.

[Solved] Account suspended due to possible violation
slashbit replied to slashbit's topic in Customer Service
Many thanks! Will do, I ll ask him to change to his @ac.uk account Thanks -
Let us know if you find a vulnerability for a particular kernel, and we can update the server. Generally we keep the server fairly up to date anyways so it's unlikely that anything like that will be an issue. It seems like you must be new to Linux because it's literally always been this way. We used cPanel from 2005 until 2021 and it was the same way too, and now Plesk is the same from 2021 to 2025. If it was a security issue I think cPanel or Plesk or CentOS or Alma Linux would have fixed it in the last 20 years.

Indeed, after a little wait, everything is now in order. Thank you!

[Solved] Work with ASP.NET on a Tommy account
wolstech replied to phroton's topic in Escalated Requests
Please check your PMs for information regarding your Lily account. -
The name servers you need to use are ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org by the way. Looks like MoneyBroz didn't answer that part.
-
Domain added. You'll need to configure DNS for the domain to point to the IPs shown in Plesk. The domain can take up to 2 hours to function. Yes our server will generate a certificate for you once DNS is configured, or you can issue it manually from Plesk. Note that it can take 2 hours for SSL to work once a certificate is installed. As for moving, you should be able to just download everything from your old host to your computer, then upload it here via either Plesk File Manager or an SFTP connection (use host tommy.heliohost.org, port 1373, protocol SFTP, and your plesk username and password). If you have a lot of files, zipping them will make the transfer much faster because you can upload one file then unzip it in the file manager, vs. uploading 1000s of individual files.
-
Created. Please be sure to configure DNS by pointing the domain to our name servers or by using A and AAAA records pointed to the IPs shown in Plesk. It can take up to 2 hours to function.

[Solved] I can’t SSH into my VPS, and the website isn’t working.
Krydos replied to jengcharat's topic in Escalated Requests
MoneyBroz tried to do a backup for you last night, and was having trouble with it so I told him to give up and I'd take a look at it today. I took a look at it myself just now, and I'm unable to access the filesystem either. It looks like it locked up too many times, and was forcibly rebooted too many times and it destroyed the filesystem. I went ahead and started the rebuild for you. You'll get an email in a few minutes when it's done. -
Just let us know when you're ready to increase your Morty balance and we can provide a link to set up the payment. For something like a Morty balance increase it's not that big of a deal if the money takes a couple weeks to arrive. We will send you an email when you have about a month's worth of balance left.
