  2. Previous Edit: Hello, im very much a beginner with this kind of stuff but, i was just wondering if there is a way i can connect to my database outside of heliohost? The connection info in the database only points to localhost:3306. Am i missing something or doing something incorrectly? I completely understand if it is not allowed but, if it is allowed how do i do it? Thank you!

  4. Domain added. Please be sure to configure DNS. It can take up to 2 hours to start working.
  5. Krydos can do this for you. Escalating.
  6. 233M ./httpdocs 3.2M ./logs 348K ./private 101M ./towardchrist.com 270M ./savvy.press 158M ./expressfixes.com 0 ./.wp-cli 0 ./wordpress-backups 172M ./savvyify.com 935M . None of that is trash, the account was just full. The above doesn't include databases, mail, or anything else either, just the files. Most if not all of those sites are WP, which is quite bloated, so not surprised by the size. For example the savvy.press one's wp-content folder is 200+MB alone. Buying more space looks like it was the right call here.

  10. I could try creating a PostgreSQL database for you if you let me know a database name. MariaDB is also available, and is the recommended database type to use as long as there isn't a specific feature of PostgreSQL, such as PostGIS, that you need.

  12. Please check your PMs for information regarding your Lily account.

  14. We use Plesk's implementation for getting LE certificates, and I believe it does supply the intermediates. We've never had a user report issues with LE certificates not verifying on Firefox due to missing roots or intermediates, though I know FF works a bit differently from other browsers.
  15. You do indeed need to reset your account if you tried the toolkit and want to remove it or start over with it. The tool kit (or possibly softaculous, not sure if it can change doc root when you install an app from it or not) is the only way to change the document root on your side. Laravel is rather poorly supported on our servers. It does work, but you would need to use the tool kit to create a skeleton app, then manually replace the skeleton files with the software you’re trying to install, probably via FTP. You can run artisan commands from the toolkit I believe if needed. I’ve gone ahead and reset your account again for you.
  16. You’re likely using the wrong path to the binaries. Its /usr/bin/python3.12 (or python3.9). All accounts have access automatically, this is not something that has to be requested. Please see: https://wiki.helionet.org/Python_Tutorial
  17. You're very welcome! This support request is being escalated to our root admins who can set up the alias for you.
  18. Subdomains don't get a httpdocs folder. Instead, you'll see new folders at the same level as your httpdocs folder (which is where your main domain files go) with the same names was your subdomains. You'll put the web files for the subdomains in the folders named after them.
  19. You just need to set the name servers as you did, and ask us to add the domain to your account. As MoneyBroz asked above, what's your account username?
  20. We'd normally suggest that you simply request a second domain instead (you can have up to 10 at no cost), then build the site on the extra domain. You can just send the files and databases to the other person when the project is finished for them to set up. That said, since you already went this route, I'll allow it this time, but what you're describing does technically violate our TOS because you do own two accounts up until you give the second account to the other person. Alternately, in the future if you really want to have an entire account you can transfer to someone in a ready-to-go state, you could buy a Morty account for them. Morty accounts don't have a multiple account restriction, so you could buy a $5 Morty account and build their site in there, then when you're finished, just transfer it and let the balance run out, it will turn into a Tommy account at no cost to them. Unsuspended.
  21. Translation: Domain added. it can take up to 2 hours to start working.
  22. Thank you, and I will keep this in mind. Have a great weekend, Mike
  23. Domain added, it'll take effect in about an hour. You'll need to create an A/AAAA record to Johnny's IP address or switch to HelioHost's nameservers for the domain to work.
  24. Your account has been reset. You should receive an email shortly to recreate it.
  25. Thanks. No. I have the free account and it works. You need to setup dropbox api to get the keys. plenty of guides around. One that comes to mind is how to setup rclone with dropbox. You would obviously use just the instructions how to setup the api and get the keys. if anyone needs help I can show how I did it.
  26. Thanks. It's working now
