yeshivabachur Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Hi — I'd like to run an isolated KVM guest on my VPS (IP 64.71.153.12, hostname panel.mikvah.uk). Nested virtualization currently appears disabled: the guest doesn't see the vmx CPU flag, /dev/kvm is absent, and modprobe kvm_intel fails with Operation not supported (dmesg: "kvm_intel: VMX not supported by CPU"). The host CPU is an Intel Xeon E5-2660, which supports VT-x.
