Haythem Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Hello HelioHost Support, I hope you are doing well. I am trying to register for a free HelioHost account, but I received a message stating that the subnet containing my IP address (46.184.137.138) has been blocked due to excessive malicious traffic. I believe this is a shared IP assigned by my ISP, and I have never used HelioHost before. I am a computer science teacher at Bayan School in Bahrain, and I would like to use HelioHost to host educational PHP and MySQL web applications for learning, testing, and demonstrating web development concepts to my students. I fully understand the need to protect your servers from abuse and I will comply with all of HelioHost's Terms of Service. I will only use the account for legitimate educational purposes. If possible, could you please review my IP address and unblock it so I can complete my registration? Thank you very much for your time and for providing free hosting to the community. Kind regards, Haytham Benhmida
Unknown025 Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Sorry that you're having problems signing up. I don't see your IP blocked in our firewall, but an administrator will be able to look into the matter. A lot of IPs did indeed get blocked recently due to a lot of bot traffic.
Krydos Posted June 17 Posted June 17 That IP isn't currently blocked. You can signup for a free account at https://heliohost.org/signup/ Free signups open at midnight UTC and noon UTC.
