Hi -

My adult daughter is trying to set up an account. She lives in Washington DC. I live in Germany. She asked me a question about the account setup and I was trying to assist her. Maybe I have misunderstood what is permitted, but it wasn't intentional. These are meant to be two separate accounts for two separate people. She has her own stuff that is completely separate from me and we would not like to comingle our code and so forth. If you still see this as a problem, then I guess I would ask you to delete the newest account which has the account id of kgb1. But I don't think you should need to do that. Once she is up and running, she will not need my help anymore. As I said, we live on separate continents and are not part of the same household.

If you have other suggestions, please advise.

Thanks!
Matt

[https://heliohost.org/images/mail/multiple.png]Hey Brinkmj70,

First of all, thank you for your recent donation! However, we have noticed a new login to your account that may indicate a violation our Terms of Service. If you didn't read our Terms during the creation of your account you may do so now by going to https://heliohost.org/terms/

Sometimes this can be triggered erroneously by one of the following:

? Multiple family members creating an account from the same internet connection.
? Logging in from a school internet connection where another student also has an account.
? Logging in from a work internet connection where a coworker also has an account.
? Maintaining an account for someone else.

In the last year, 60% of the accounts we were forced to suspend were because people didn't read the first line in our Terms of Service and created more than one account without getting permission in advance. This applies to both our free Johnny accounts and donor Tommy accounts. If you'd like to have more than one account you may do so by moving your accounts to our Morty plan which does not have a limit.

Since we're a small non-profit organization funded primarily by donations we don't have a huge budget to purchase an unlimited number of servers to keep up with the demand for accounts. We turn away hundreds of people every day who would love to have an account, but we can't host their website because our servers are so full. We don't think it's fair for some people to have more than one account, while at the same time, so many other people aren't able to have an account at all.

If you did create more than one account, just let us know which one you'd like to keep, or explain what the situation is. You can reply to this email or click the Contact Support button below to let us know how we can help. Please respond to this within the next 24 hours to avoid any downtime for your website(s). Thanks.

Oh yeah setting an account up for someone else will definitely cause this. In the future, please ask before doing something this, otherwise the system will flag your accounts. I've cancelled the pending suspensions for you.

Please ensure these accounts are used completely independently. There should be no shared content, subdomains, etc. between the accounts. There is an outlook.com address shared on both accounts, please remove that as soon as possible and do not add any of your information to your daughter's account.

If we detect that the accounts are being used as if they were a single account, you may be subject to suspension again.
