[HH#507620] FTP Server Down?

Username: gaffoon, Server: Johnny, Main domain: gaffoon.helioho.st

Hello Mr. Support:

For the last couple of days, the FTP server has been "freezing" after I enter my password. The PLESK file manager seems OK, as does the HTTP site. I use "gaffoon.helioho.st" as the FTP server name on Port 21.

There has been ongoing maintenance on Johnny that may be causing the performance issues. https://helionet.org/index/topic/64578-johnny-maintenance/

Some other suggestions: use johnny.heliohost.org as the server name instead. Also, if your client supports it, try using SFTP on port 1373.
