I need help adding one cloudflare Cname resolution , the cname site is d1.mwl04155.top.Recently, I started trying to use Node.js instead of wordpress to deploy my project. I found that using yriver.heliohost.us cannot load quickly in the area where I want to deploy. It often freezes and sometimes takes a few seconds to respond to my request. This is not because the network speed is slow, it can be loaded immediately after a few seconds, then i tried to ping my website and found that the delay is generally above 600ms, so I plan to use the domain name d2.mwl04155.top hosted on cloudflare to speed up my access, i often do this on other projects, but when I resolve this website through the cname, I find that the webpage cannot be resolved, so I need your help to configure this cname resolution. In addition, when I tried to access my project directly through the ip 64.62.151.106 assigned to me, I found that this ip could no longer access my project, it should have been able to access my wordpress webpage before, but now I have been waiting for too many "two hours". However, yriver.heliohost.us can access my webpage normally. Thank you.
wolstech Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 The IP not working for accessing your site is normal. It's a shared IP used by thousands of domains and relies on SNI (Server Name Indication) to determine what content to serve. I've added d2.mwl04155.top as an alias on your account. You'll need to configure the Cloudflare zone for that domain to point to the same IPs as the yriver.heliohost.us domain, then wait 2 hours and it should work.
