Please reset my shared account
somehow I cannot access phpmyadmin or connect to my db via the joomla
installer

this on both shared and vps, it is probably a firewall issue but not too
sure....
but as I am only using the tommy for the database it is the lesser of the
two evil

Can you please send us another email from the email address on your Tommy account requesting a reset, and also specify the username of the Tommy account to be reset (or post on the forum using the forum account linked to the Tommy account)?

This is required both to verify you're resetting your own account, and creates a record of your reset request. This support request came in as being for VPS112 based on the email address.

In addition, our support email does not accept images or attachments, so we cannot see the picture. You would need to host the picture elsewhere and provide a link to it in order for us to view it.
