MoneyBroz Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 These are outdated standards and are not supported.
MoneyBroz Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Also using these protocols will make your website an easy target for hackers. tls 1.0 was released in 1999 and 1.1 was released in 2006. Today you should never use standards that are very old such as these two.
wolstech Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 I've asked about this in a staff channel for you. It's worth noting that Tommy still supports these protocols for the time being (and will likely continue to do so until rebuilt). The security risks associated with these protocols seem to be grossly overstated in many places, and while they are possible to break, it's still not trivial, and for the stuff being hosted on our servers, it's not likely to be an issue. Even Google still supports these legacy protocols, and they're usually one of the first to implement any form of new security...
wolstech Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 In the meantime, can you explain exactly why you need these?
OverdueWeevil2 Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 I need TLS 1.0/1.1 because i need support old browsers
wolstech Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Support for these protocols has been turned back on. Please try again now.
