rmx1986 Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Finally I asked in the chat and did "Renew Account", I thought if I did renew (not such a good word in my opinion.. maybe.. "Reactivation" ?) everything would be deleted.. So far everything is working as before.. the heartbeats decreased..
Krydos Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 It's been called "renew account" since like 2006 and you're the first to say it's not a good word. Glad you figured out how to renew reactivate your account.
rmx1986 Posted June 23, 2024 Posted June 23, 2024 When i saw the button "Renew Account" i thought everything would be deleted if i clicked it, again from the beginning.. Otherwise, If it had seen e.g "Reactivate Account" these thoughts maybe would not cross my mind.. my opinion..
wolstech Posted June 23, 2024 Posted June 23, 2024 As was said earlier, you’re the first and only person in almost 20 years to say this. Generally, at least in the USA, the word renew is used in the context of “to keep, extend, or continue something”, though I can see the confusion as another definition of renew is to “make new again”, which could be interpreted as “start over as if new”. We call starting over a “reset” here. Once again, apologies for the confusion on this.
