starstorm
VPS53 could use a fresh install. I think I broke it, can't even login with SSH.
wolstech
Yes it can be reinstalled. If it's just SSH that's broken though Krydos can often fix that, it's not uncommon for things to happen such as firewalling yourself out. Escalating to Krydos.

I was admittedly messing with a network interface, I was attempting to figure out how to set one up so that I could use the VPS as my AMPRNet gateway and I use one of the 8 IPs they assigned me. Probably what happened is I messed up configuring a tunnel interface, and after I tried restarting netplan, I couldn't log back in, the faulty config file I think is /etc/netplan/90-amprnet.conf. I have often learned things by breaking them, and then I feel like an idiot when the answer becomes clear.
Krydos
I logged in and renamed these two files in /etc/netplan 90-amprnet.yaml.disabled 99-henet-tunnel.yaml.disabled to disable them and rebooted. The network is connecting again. Are you able to connect to SSH now?
