wolstech Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Our servers are all physically connected to the same network switch in a single rack in Fremont, California, USA, so they're all going to have the same latency. We don't have multiple locations or regions to serve from, so every IP we offer will offer the same speed regardless of the one assigned to you. The only reason you may need one range over another is if you're in a country where certain ranges are blocked due to censorship.

wolstech Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 We don't guarantee subnet ranges for VPSes, but they're physically all in the same rack and data center anyway. The cheapest offering is $4/month. There is a wait list at the moment, but you can get in line for it by clicking on the full $4 plan: https://heliohost.org/vps/ The reason for the wait list is because we're in the middle of remediating a hacked server that broke the VPS management system: https://helionet.org/index/topic/54956-eddie-server-hacked/ All existing VPSes are online and unaffected, but we can't accept new customers at the moment because the system that builds the VPSes doesn't work. Users who register for the wait list will be offered a VPS when service is restored. 1
