onesmusmuriithi
Dear Support Team, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the recent failure of Thirty Bees installation on my webserver. Despite following the instructions provided on the website, I encountered Database timeout error during the installation process and was unable to complete it successfully. I would like to request your assistance in resolving this issue. I have included all relevant information, such as the error messages, in this email for your reference. I hope that you can provide a solution as soon as possible, as I am eager to launch my online store using Thirty Bees. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Best regards,
wolstech
A 500 error doesn't tell us much, though considering it was creating a database at the time it failed, my guess is it timed out due to server performance. Tommy is quite slow due to load and being overcrowded at the moment...we're working on getting more resources allocated to fix this, but it will be 2-3 weeks yet (see News post from earlier today about speeding up the migration so we can decommission the cPanel Tommy and allocate its resources to Plesk Tommy). Krydos may be able to get this to work by extending the script timeout for your domain. I'll escalate it though to see what he wants to do. Krydos
Your Apache, Nginx, and PHP time limits have been increased from 60 seconds up to 300 seconds. Like Wolstech already said, telling us there was a 500 error is pretty useless, but if you go to Login > Continue to Plesk > Websites & Domains > [domain name] > Logs it will tell you the exact reason for the 500 error. Try installing your software now and let us know if it works with the increased time limit.
onesmusmuriithi
Hello, Am now getting the attached error,
Krydos
Well, one thing that I noticed is according to the documentation https://docs.thirtybees.com/installation/ this software supports PHP 5.5 through PHP 7.1 and you're trying to use PHP 8.1. Does it work if you use a supported PHP version?

onesmusmuriithi
Hello Support, After deprecating the PHP version to 7.4.33, I am now getting 'internal Server error.' could there be an issue on the server configuration or timeouts? Krydos
I know why you're frustrated. That wasn't easy software to install. After fiddling with it for quite a while I managed to get it installed. I didn't know what type of products you're planning on selling so I just set it to the top option, but I'm sure you can change the name of the store and everything now that it's installed. I emailed you the password and database settings. Let us know if you need help with anything else.
onesmusmuriithi
Thank You So Much, maybe you can tell me what exactly you did to get it working? am OK with the name you've set, my main concern as to get it working, i plan on selling electronic devices, hope one day you will be my customer😊
Krydos
The main thing I did was increase the fast_cgi time limit to 300 as well. Apparently changing the PHP execution time limit isn't enough. Even after getting all the time limits set it took a couple tries to get it installed though. If you haven't seen the latest news It might be a few days before we can get your website back online. We'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible. Keep an eye on the news page for the latest updates.
