I don't know much about setting up a web site. My old ISP hosted my weather station and was very simple to set up. Krydos Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 It's not possible for us to create new free accounts right now because our shared hosting licenses were revoked, and we're still working on switching to a new control panel. It shouldn't be much longer, but there is no ETA on when it will be done. We do have VPS plans available right now, but they aren't free. They start at $4 per month for the basic Mercury plan. We can provide simple instructions for getting your weather station set up, or even do it for you if you want.

We can provide the domain WA2UETwx.heliohost.us or WA2UETwx.helioho.st for no additional cost, or we could set you up with WA2UETwx.com for $8.98 for a year in addition to the $4 per month for the VPS. There are also .net, .org, .online, .site, etc etc domains available as well for various prices that we could host as well. We can't do a free trial for any of the paid domains though, but they can be added later if you want to try a free domain first and then add a shorter domain like a .com later. The weather station builds the Index file and includes all the JPG files etc. I just need stuff like "server name" "user name" "password" maybe initial directory. I'm not sure what I am doing and that is why I would like to try before I buy. The weather station software is quite old and I think some of the entries are named differently today. When I got to login section I used the IP address you sent along with my user name and password. When I clicked login the files were sent to the internet. I used the "remote directory" string you gave me for "current working directory" in VWS. I am using the domain name you gave me "wa2uetwx.heliohost.us" to access the web site. I get the message "this site is currently under construction" from chrome. Is this what should happen? Does it take a while for the site to complete?
