robev
I'm using a VPN with Hestia until the CPanel situation is resolved. Every so often I get emails from Cron Daemon. Every day for the past week I've been getting the following email: Subject: Cron <admin@vps11> sudo /usr/local/hestia/bin/v-update-sys-hestia-all Error: hestia update failed Error: hestia-nginx update failed Error: hestia-php update failed How do I resolve this? wolstech
I'm not sure anyone here is going to know how to fix this since Hestia is not our area of expertise. I'd imagine there has to be more detailed logs available though, and those would probably explain the issue if we can find them. Lets see if Krydos can take a look at this for you. Krydos
It looks like the problem was Hestia locked up. You could tell that it was locked up because going to https://vps11.heliohost.us:8083/ would result in a 500 error instead of a login page. The /usr/local/hestia/bin/v-update-sys-hestia-all command was trying to update Hestia, but after the update it would try to restart Hestia and the restart would fail because the old Hestia process was locked up and not responding. I killed the locked up Hestia process, and ran the updates and everything seems to be working now. Let us know if you need help with anything else.
