HelioHost Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Username: ojplanet, Server: Tommy, Main domain: ojplanet.gaI can?t check my site speed test from gtmetrix or keycdn anymore after I changed back my doman from ojplanet.heliohost.us to ojplanet.ga using heliohost script... did the script messed up my domain? This is the error from gtmetrix Analysis Error An error occurred fetching the page: HTTPS error: Name or service not known
wolstech Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 That usually means the DNS didn't resolve or the server didn't respond, but the site is working for me (albeit very slowly, and it frequently returns a 500 error because of WP being too slow and timing out). If you just changed the domain, give it 24 hours for DNS to propagate to see if the error clears up. For the 500 error, start by getting rid of Wordpress and finding something else to use.
yasky Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Ok thanks but do you have any better alternative in mind? I don’t know much about coding, so anyone with drag and drop plus zero coding
balloons Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 The famous name server already has records visible. $ dig ojplanet.ga @8.8.8.8 ;; ANSWER SECTION: ojplanet.ga. 14399 IN A 65.19.143.6 65.19.143.6 is Tommy's IP address. Is it correct? You may be able to test it after a while, but maybe the gtmetrix or keycdn service is denying the Freenom domain.

But if you must use WP, you can use WP2Static: https://krydos.gitbook.io/heliohost/tutorials/wp2static
Krydos Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Your dns looks good to me https://dnschecker.org/#A/ojplanet.ga I noticed on gtmetrix it says you can log in to change the testing location. Perhaps create an account and see if you can choose a different location? For the most accurate results choose something as close to San Francisco, California, USA. The further from that location you choose the more likely your results will be affected by internet congestion and distance latency rather than actual server performance.
