HelioHost Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Username: materna, Server: Johnny, Main domain: materna.heliohost.org Hello, I received the warning below. I tried logging into my account in order to keep the deadline, but it told me that my password was incorrect. I then used the Reset Password form to reset the password for this email address. The browser showed me the following: > Email Sent> > To finish resetting your password you must click the link that I just sent to your contact email address. Make sure to whitelist emails from no-reply@heliohost.org and check your spam folder. But I haven't received any other email since. How long does it take for the password reset email to arrive? Is my account already gone? Please extend my inactivity timer to account for my troubles of logging into my account and the password reset form not working for my account. Thanks! HelioHost Posted May 24, 2020 Author Posted May 24, 2020 Well, the password reset mail arrived at some point and I was able to login with a new password and continue to my cPanel interface. So I guess that the deletion timer has been reset? Where can I see the timer? Also, I am completely unable to access the forums now. I assumed that the same password works for the forums now, too. Do I need to register there again, somehow, or should I be able to use the same credentials? Thanks!
Sn1F3rt Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Try to reset your password using the same username as your cPanel. Your HelioNet account exists or not depends on when you'd signed up. If it doesn't, just create a new account. Also, there's no timer for the password reset mail. Sometimes mail delivery can be slow, not always does it update instantly.
Krydos Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 The forum account uses the same password that you used when you originally created your hosting account. It doesn't automatically sync new password changes on the hosting account. To reset your forum password you can go to https://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?app=core&module=global§ion=lostpass
