[Answered] TCP Server(johnny.heliohost.org) and TCP client(vb.net) possible to connect?

Hi guys im new to tcp stuff and i want to know if its possible for heliohost to act as a tcp receiver and sender to all client in vb.net Chat program? i tried the TCP.Listener class and TCP.Receiver but i failed to do it. so any help or tip ? Thank you in advance

None of our servers would support this because it requires incoming non-HTTP connections on custom ports. Lily could likely run it, but depending on what it is, it might be a security risk to do so.

 

His best bet will be to buy a VPS. https://heliohost.org/vps/ If the server half is VB.NET, he'd need to buy a Windows VPS. Note that the Windows license for those is not included (it costs $700, our Windows Server VPSes are BYOL after a 120-day trial).
